Lounge
A beautiful large room with oak floors and original oak beams. This wonderful living room is excellent for entertaining, relaxing and reading a book or listening to music via the Bose docking station. The room overlooks the lovely front garden and is filled with bespoke hand made furniture including an extra large sofa with an abundance of sumptuous cushions. Set within a beautiful stone fireplace there is a log burner to keep you toasty warm on winter days.
Porta Romana and William Yeoward lamps create a lovely ambience complemented by fabrics from Nina Campbell, Etro, Boussac and Etamine. Glassware by Roger Tye and Michael Rue and ceramics by Lisa Katzenstein make the room feel lived in. A true home from home feel that we hope you will find very welcoming.
Dining Room
The formal dining room is situated off the conservatory and leads on to the kitchen and living room. It has oak floors, William Yeoward, Elitis and Donghia fabrics, beautiful bespoke handmade chairs and dining table seating ten, glassware by Roger Tye and ceramics by Lowri Davies. The setting makes for a very special evening with family and friends.
Snug
The Snug is a cosy room to chill out and relax in. Oak floor, log burner, bespoke handmade furniture, textured wallpaper by Brian Yates, funky rug by Vivienne Westwood, Panasonic TV and Blue Ray Player, glassware by Bob Crooks and Ceramics by Clementine Cummins. It is situated off the living room and will be a huge hit with the children/teenagers as well as adults.
Kitchen
The large kitchen has everything you could wish for. With bespoke handmade kitchen units, Vincent Shepherd chairs around a huge bespoke table that seats ten, beautiful lighting, Mulberry voile and Designers Guild fabric, art work by Susan Wilks, plus all the state of the art appliances you would expect. With a large range cooker and lots of lovely crockery and special things, it will make cooking here an absolute delight. French doors open up on to the rear terrace. The perfect place to read the paper with a coffee and take in the wonderful view.
Guest Bedroom One, Master
This is a gorgeous large comfortable room with beautiful views over the fields and gardens. Oak floors, bespoke handmade furniture, deliciously comfortable king size bed. Timorous Beasties lamp bases with Porta Romana shades, oversized headboard covered with Zimmer Rhode fabric and ceramics by Laurance Simone. Panasonic TV, Roberts iPod dock.
Guest Bedroom Two, Second Master
A lovely spacious room with beautiful views over the fields and gardens. Guest Bedroom Three
This slightly smaller peaceful room has views over the gravelled car park area with pretty flower beds. It has natural sisal carpet and a double bed with the bed head covered in Nobilis fabric, a funky oversized silk lampshade, bespoke handmade furniture, lamp bases by Timorous Beasties with shades by Porta Romana and a Roberts iPod Dock.
Guest Bedrooms Four and Five
Both twin rooms have character with sloping ceilings, situated either side of the house to the rear. These rooms are great for adults or children. The beds can be pushed together as European doubles making the house flexible for family and friends. They are both carpeted with Alternative Flooring natural sisal, bespoke handmade furniture, bed heads covered in Boussac, other fabrics by Dedar, Boussac and Etro, lamps by Timorous Beasties, artwork by Linda Miller and both have a Roberts iPod Docks.
Bathrooms
Bedroom one and two have ensuite shower rooms and bedroom 3 shares the family bathroom with the twin rooms.
Family Bathroom
Oak floors and a large roll top bath with shower. All guests can enjoy Bath House products. Luxurious Egyptian cotton towels and hair-dryers are supplied.
