The private infinity pool has stunning views of the sea and islands. The towns of St Tropez and Hyeres are some 40km and 10km away respectively and the airports of Nice and Marseilles are about an hour and a half drive away. The popular holiday town of Le Lavandou and the renowned 12th Century village of Bormes les Mimosas are about 10km also. The Islands of Porquerolles, Port Cros and Levant are a short ferry ride from Port Miramar at La Londe or Giens at Hyeres.
This lavish five-bedroom villa is spread over three levels and is the perfect holiday location for a large family or groups of up to 10 people. The pool and terraces offer a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean sea, the Isles D’or of Porquerolles & Port Cros to the south and the beautiful hills around the house to the west – with stunning sunsets.
Our kitchen is modern and inviting. It is ideal for preparing meals for a few or many, using fresh ingredients purchased from the village markets. The SieMatic kitchen is contemporary, large and opens out onto a covered terrace area for outdoor dining via two sliding doors, with a tables inside and out for entertaining 10-to-12 people. It has two large Smeg ovens and Gaggenau appliances with convection hob, American fridge freezer, dishwasher and Franke waste disposal unit.
The flat screen television delivers TV and Radio programming via satellite, as do all of the televisions in the villa. The ceiling-mounted Bose speakers deliver perfect quality sound throughout the middle level – inside, outside the kitchen and around the pool.
Congregate in the kitchen or drift into the inviting lounge area, which steps out onto sprawling terraces and an outdoor dining area.The large, open plan lounge area has yet another flat screen TV and is home to the state-of-the-art Bose sound system. It also has air cooling, a working fireplace and a formal dining area that seats up to 10 people. An eclectic mix of traditional and modern design, this room and much of this level features art and curios collected from travels around India and Asia.
Our billiards table dates back to the early 20th century. A television, stereo and wet bar round out this lounge.The billiard / snooker room has a three quarter sized antique table dating back to 1900. The room also has a wall mounted flat screen TV and a separate Denon sound system. The sound system, which is wired to play music throughout the villa should you wish, accommodates your iPod or other portable music player as a source. There is an honesty bar in the billiard room – we ask that our guests replace what they use.
The main wall of the lounge displays a dazzling 43-inch plasma screen television with a 5 speaker ceiling mounted surround sound system. Wired into this same spectacular sound system is a CD and DVD player. The bookcase is well stocked with all manner of media: books, over 50 DVDs, CDs, games and puzzles.
And because the gleaming surfaces of water are to be admired as much as used, our 12x4m infinity pool is as beautiful as it is practical (comes with retracted safety cover and back-up heating for outside of season). A pool house with showers, wc and changing room extends the luxury facilities found throughout this property.
Our terraces and gardens are designed to merge with the hillside. This is enhanced by inspired landscaping. Cacti and other plants from around the world thrive here in our rich hillside soil. Lights have been installed throughout the gardens of the property to enhance the lovely flora and fauna.
The middle terrace extends the full length of the property, creating various spaces for outdoor seating. You’ll find an inviting Gloster outdoor sofa and armchairs and eight really comfortable Gloster sunloungers, plus an outdoor dining table for up to 10 as well as large umbrellas to move to where you need to have some shade. There is a generous teak deck surrounding the pool and a large gas-fired BBQ.
