The apartment is located on the ground floor of a Victorian building and has many original period features and a private patio garden. Free Wi-Fi internet. Fully equipped.

The apartment is located in a friendly residential neighbourhood, but close to the city centre.

Local shops and services are in close proximity. South Lambeth Road has some lovely restaurants, cafés and pubs, as well as a local library and dry cleaners. A major supermarket is a short walk away for your food shopping.

There are excellent transport links to the West End, City and many other areas.

The apartment was as advertised. We stayed 11 nights in early September. The owners were very helpful. My tablet had a malfunction after a few days and Peter was able to rectify the problem. The 2 bus routes almost in front of the apartment were very useful. One took us to Regent park zoo, the Tate Britain, Westminster Abbey and the National Gallery. The other took us to the Queen Mother Sports Center, Westminster Cathedral. Hyde Park and the Victoria Station area. The owners should really mention in their advertisement that the Tate Library is about 100 yards from the apartment. When my tablet had problems I was able to use a computer in the library to access my e-mail. My wife attended a program at the library that she enjoyed very much. The area was safe and there were many shopping and dining opportunities. I would recommend this apartment to family and friends.

La estancia de mi familia (Matrimonio con dos hijas ) de 7 dias fue increible, Mobiliario, Limpieza, confor, ubicacion, trato.

- Mobiliario:
Tienes todo lo necesario, hasta un multiconector y cargador USB. Se echo en falta el microondas, es posible que estuviera en reparacion.

- Limpieza:
To correcto.

- Confor.
Zona muy tranquila

- Ubicacion;
Bastante centrico aunque un poco apartado, mayor tranquilidad.
- A 50 metros autobus con mucha frecuencia Lineas 2 y 88 muy importantes ( Abadia, Palacio Buckihan,etc ).
Parada de metro Vauxall a 10 minutos.
Comercio de alimentacion 24 horas abierto con panaderia, a 25 metros ,
Gran Supermercado a 10 minutos andando.

- Tratamiento.
Antes de llegar recibimos un correo con todas las instrucciones necesarias , como llegar , situacion exacta, transporte publico, como contactar para recibir las llaves, etc.
El uiltimo dia el vuelo salia por la tarde,Ellos nos recojieron las maletas hasta la tarde.

Como turista se agradece encontrar un alojamiento como el que hemos podio disfrutar. Altamente recomendable.

Wonderful choice!

We just returned from a very comfortable stay here. Our goal was to get easy access to the New Years Eve Fireworks and this location was perfect. Close enough to walk, but far enough to have quiet when we came back. Easy bus access to tube station, but if you come to London in better weather walking is definitely an option. I agree with purchasing an oyster pass and with this you can go all over on buses or the underground. As for the flat, it is as pictured. Comfy bed, fantastic kitchen with washer, dryer so we were able to pack extremely light. Local supermarket and grocery which was a great way to save $$ since eating out in London is quite pricey even by US standards. Sally and her family are a pleasure and live upstairs if you are in need. The area is safe and if you are a runner or walker, the river is an easy jog for a spectacular route past Big Ben, the London Eye and as far as you can go. This is not in the center of everything, so be aware public transportation is a must. However, I have spent a good deal of time in London, and I believe it is the best system in the world. High recommend Sally and this flat.

Comfortable London apartment

A really comfortable and enjoyable stay. The owners were helpful and friendly and responded quickly whenever we had a query or problem. Vauxhall is probably not the most salubrious (or my favourite) part of London but it is close to Brixton which is always worth a visit, and you can walk along the Thames to the Tate Modern. London is an expensive city, and so by London standards this represented good value. Would definitely recommend to others.

Smart choice

We had a perfectly problem-free stay in this apartment. It's comfortable, warm, very well equipped and impeccably clean. The description is accurate and the flat looks exactly like shown on the pictures (except the garden was upgraded with seating area). The bed is bigger than it looks on the picture and incredibly comfortable. The neighborhood is lively but safe. There's a couple good pubs nearby, some groceries around the corner, and huge Sainsbury's 5 minutes away. The bus stop is literally across the street and it makes it very easy to get around the city. Vauxhall tube station is about 10-15 minutes walk away, so is Oval tube. The owners are very friendly and helpful. If you didn't do any area research before getting there they'd provide you with hints on local restaurants and activities. I'd say this apartment has very good price/quality ratio, I'd recommend it with no hesitation.

The Gatwick Express runs from Gatwick airport to Victoria Station, which is a short tube journey or 10 minute taxi ride away.

Fast 24-hour buses to the West End are 1 minute away. Vauxhall's Zone 1 bus station, underground (for Victoria line) and mainline train station is less than a 10 minute walk. The Oval underground station (for Northern line) is also just a short walk. River boats run from the Vauxhall St George's Wharf Pier to the City and Bankside (for the Tate Modern).

Many tourist attractions are within walking distance. You can enjoy a walk along the Thames to:

- Tate Britain (15 mins);

- Westminster (25 minutes) for the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey;

- Buckingham Palace (30 minutes);

- the London Eye (30 minutes);

- the Imperial War Museum (25 minutes).

The Oval cricket ground is a 10 minute walk away and Wimbledon can be reached by fast train from Vauxhall.
