Amazing Views - Well Equipped - Great Location!

My family of 6 plus 3 month baby (stayed for a week) - parents stayed for an additional week - it's our last day here and I can't say enough good things. VERY well equipped - kitchen (tons of plates, knives, cooking stuff, serving plates - we stayed home many nights for dinner/lunch t so it was great to have a big kitchen that would fit 4 of us all prepping/cooking. It would have been nice to have the grill in the back next to the pool but that is probably the only complaint.
We went into the hot tub and sat next to the outdoor fireplace (fireplace was gas - so easy to turn on:) every evening. And the morning views of the mountains were just amazing - plus the home overlooks the 8th hole at La Quinta Fairways Golf Course so it's VERY private because the tee box is across the pond. Plus, about 8 outdoor chairs and 2 loungers next to the pool. And she had floaties for the pool (although we never figured out how to get the pool heated only the hot tub). My favorite part of the home was the grapefruit tree next to the pool - fresh grapefruits every morning!
2 of the 3 bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms and were very large. Tons of towels too with a washing machines.
Location was awesome - Ralphs was only a 1mile away plus Costco / Wal-mart was maybe 4 miles. Plus, we walked to Old La Quinta - which is a cute area (Sunday morning Famer's Market) is only 1.5miles - only ate at the Stuftz Pizza - great lunch special. They had a Happy hour but we never made it back to. Plus, they had an gelato place and wine shop. We also hiked La Quinta Cove a couple days- great hiking mountain only a couple miles - parking lot is at the intersection of Avenida Bermudas and Avenida Ramirez).
Community is gated with a 24hour guard so felt very safe- my mom took a walk every evening . Overall weather was amazing (80's during the day/50's at night) and week flew by and we wish we could stay longer - it's the only place we've said we would come back to because we do this every year. Kay was great to work with.
