This home is nestled in the woods, accessed by a private driveway.Free Island Explorer bus service nearby (drives by the entrance to this home). Hiking and biking are easily accessible. Ike's landing (Acadia National Park boat launch area on Echo Lake) and the National Park Beach on Echo Lake are a short drive away (about 5 minutes).Bar Harbor is about a 10-15 minute drive from the cottage. FYI: For your convenience, there are grocery stores and laundromats in nearby villages. The village libraries offer internet/ email access. RedZone wireless offers service for a fee. The quaint historic Somesville Library also offers incredible views of the Village Mill Pond and Somes Harbor.
