The Bakehouse is a delightful one bedroom barn conversion, in a central Berkhamsted location approximately 5 minutes' walk from the town centre's restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarkets and railway station. The property is located in the heart of Berkhamsted town, yet set back from the High Street in an oasis of calm and with its own access. It is at the rear of Dean Incent's House, an iconic Tudor house, and formerly served as the bakery when the main house was used as a war-time restaurant and later a tea-house

Berkhamsted is an historic town in the west of Hertfordshire, set on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, part of the borough of Dacorum. Berkhamsted is famous for its castle, which now lies in ruins. As well as being surrounded by attractive countryside, Berkhamsted is only 35 minutes from Euston, positioned just outside the bounds of the Greater London.
