Photos and Description of the Irons vacation house rental 5 bedrooms, 2 baths

Located between Ludington, Traverse City and Baldwin, approximately 90 minutes from Grand Rapids. The house is set on approximately 30 acres with over 600 feet of frontage on the 1st of a chain of lakes that make up the headwaters of the Sauble River. The lake is quiet, deep and clear and frequented by loons, turkey, deer and other wildlife. Enjoy the fishing, serenity and gorgeous view from the spacious and comfortable home. The farmhouse was recently remodeled, including new carpet and flooring on the main level, new wall treatment in the bathroom and the addition of 2 decks. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs and 3 upstairs. The living room offers a view of the lake through a slider and a gas fireplace can create a cozy atmosphere on the occasional chilly night. There is a convenience store less than 2 miles away that offers video rentals for the occasional rainy day.

Location: Northern Michigan < Michigan < USA

Our lake is a quiet, no wake lake. The fishing is good and a rowboat, pedal boat and canoe are provided to help you enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of the lake. Swimmers will also enjoy the clear, cool water. Enjoy a peaceful walk on the property or around the block and don't be surprised if you see deer, turkeys, maybe even a fox. Local attractions include the North Country hiking trail, as well as other trails for biking and ATV's. Big Bass Lake is an all sports lake just a mile away with a public boat launch about 5 minutes away. Waterskiers and personal watercraft riders will enjoy visiting Big Bass Lake. For the fisherman, canoer and tubers, several blue ribbon rivers are close by, including the Little Manistee (10 minutes), the Pere Marquete (1/2 hour south) the Big Manistee (1/2 hour north) as well as the Sauble. There are numerous other public lakes nearby. There are thousands of acres of public land nearby that can be explored.

Very Clean, no need to bring anything but food and clothes. Very spacious. We had a blast in the lake and fished everyday. The kids were never bored. We will return.
