GOLF! Tennis! LASSEN VOLCANIC NATIONAL PARK!: Bailey Creek's Golf Course is but a minute's drive. Lake Almanor Country Club Golf Course and Tennis Club are an easy 5 minute drive. Lake Almanor West Golf Course is about 20 minutes away. All golf courses and tennis courts are available for tee time and court reservations to the public. Scenic, awesome Lassen Volcanic National Park is only 30 miles away. Drive, hike, or ride horseback in the park. Sulfur pots, steam vents and lakes accessible by car. Don't miss the new Visitor's Center featuring a film about the history and formation of the park. Incredible! The BumpAss Hell hike is a relatively easy hike that takes only a couple of hours and transports you to the most unusual spectacles: azure blue waters, boiling, steaming water and mud, accessed over boardwalks. The horseback rides from Drakesbad Guest Ranch (within the park) to Boiling Springs, and points further, are unforgettable, too (reservations required). Lassen Volcanic National Park is inspiration!
