Lovely spot, fantastic experience
We very much enjoyed our time at this comfy cottage. Everything we needed was provided and then some. The views are magnificent and it was fun to watch the boats coming and going. Harbor seals and a Great Blue Heron visited just down the shoreline almost every day, and we had a great time walking around the island, around the village on the mainland and visiting other towns around the peninsula. The other side of the island, where you can purchase freshly caught lobster (they will cook it for you or you can take it back to the cottage to cook it yourself) is just a few minutes walk from the cottage and the pizza at the Sea Store on the mainland was fantastic!
Everyone we encountered in the area was warm and friendly and the landlords were great to work with, providing an abundance of information needed for our stay, as well as about the surrounding area. To top it all off, we were pleasantly surprised to find our deposit refund check waiting for us when we returned home just 8 days later!
Highly recommended! We hope to return again someday.
