Photos and Description of the Daglan vacation cottage rental

The house is located in the hills above the picturesque village of Daglan, some five minutes away by car, in a quiet, secluded hamlet. It is in a superb location in the Perigord Noir with many things to do and see.

This single storey house is set in spacious and secluded grounds with a private, salt water swimming pool (8 metres x 4 metres).

The accommodation comprises a large living room, a fully fitted kitchen, one double bedroom, and one bedroom with bunk beds and an extra single bed, a shower room and a separate WC.

The house is well furnished with attention to details. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, cooker, microwave, food processor, iron and hair dryer, Internet, and in each room there are electric convector heaters. In the living room there is a television, and DVD. There is an audio system,

The garden and pool:

The 7000m² mature garden offers grassy areas to play in and shady places to relax. It has mature trees, flowered bushes and beautiful shrubs.

The lovely terrace area has a BBQ, and table and chairs to dine al fresco.

The 8x4m pool is fully private. you won't share it with anybody else. It is equipped with sun beds and has an electric cover for little ones safety.

Although the house is set in a beautiful and very quiet rural setting it offers the benefit of being 5 minutes drive to the pretty village of Daglan, which boasts a grocery, a boulangerie, butcher, restaurants, many local artisans, tourist information centre, and a thriving weekly market.

Bergerac airport is an easy 50 minutes drive away and medieval Sarlat is a 15 minute drive. All the 'must see' sights of the Dordogne are in a 30km radius from the house.
