Although London is often dark and gloomy, this flat is amazing because it is always light, because its windows clear the surrounding houses and face both east and west. It is conveniently located between the Notting Hill and Holland Park tube stations on the Central, Circle and District lines. The property is directly adjacent to the supermarkets, restaurants, bars, pubs, coffee shops and cinemas on the Notting Hill and Holland Park high streets. Quiet building with daily cleaning of the common areas. Beautiful leafy green street which boasts with some of the most beautiful and well-known properties in London. The flat has unlimited Wifi, satellite TV, large selection of DVDs, tons of books and games. The flat is furnished with a stylish mix of modern and antique furniture. The building has been recently refurbished and insulated (including the windows) so the property is cosy and warm in the winter. Because of the property's double aspect (facing east and west) the property stays cool even on the warmest summer days. In addition, the bedrooms come with brand-new and virtually silent air cooling units (although rarely if ever needed).

Great Location

I took my teenage son and 84 year old father on a week long trip to London. It was fabulous! The apartment was perfect; spacious, clean, modern kitchen and bathrooms and great views. We couldn't have asked for a better London base. The apartment is close to three major tube lines, minutes walk from Portobello market, the shops and restaurants of Westbourne Grove and Hyde and Holland Park were terrific for early morning runs. The owner is a star, helping with our arrangements to get too and from the apartment and answering all our questions about things to do and see. Would definitely stay there again.

Charming Notting Hill Flat

Charming flat in a great location only a few blocks from the Portobello Road and Notting Hill Gate underground station. Supermarkets and all kinds of service also very close. The flat was warm, clean and tidy and my kids really loved it, especially its three bed attic bedroom with bathroom. We had a lovely stay in London and the fact that we had such a comfortable place to rest after each day was very reassuring.

Enjoyed our stay

We stayed in the flat for a week while children attended a university camp. The location is excellent and being on the top floor further away from street noise and benefits from cross winds. Good local shops for food and such and easy access to transport. Notting Hill is a fun area to be and yet the flat is around the corner so away from the bustle of the main streets. The flat has a restful ambiance and is uncluttered with comfortable beds. The housekeeper is very friendly and the owners easy to deal with. The only drawback are the three flights of stairs to reach the front door. We would be happy to stay there again.
