This charming bungalow is the real Provincetown deal. And oh so reasonably priced. It is centrally located on a quiet residential street across from the Fine Arts Work Center and only a few minutes to shops on Commercial Street. A lovely yard and garden, huge mahogany deck, wi-fi and two parking spots make it perfect. This ain't no run-of-the mill white box condo. It is a 1500 sq. ft. home fully furnished in eclectic Provincetown style with three bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast nook, enclosed sun porch and reading alcove. There is plenty of space for entertaining. Beds include one queen & two doubles and the the reading alcove has a double futon. Original hardwood floors throughout. There is a bathroom with huge soaking tub and separate shower. New paint everywhere. We love this house and you will too! *** SUMMER 2010 RATES AND AVAILABILITY WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL MARCH. hands down my favorite place to stay in ptown. close to the center of town and an easy bike ride to the beach, but at the same time on a lovely quiet street. the house is beautiful inside and out, with more amenities than most vacation homes (beach umbrellas for the borrowing, washer/dryer, a well-appointed kitchen) and a welcoming, airy feel.

The location alone would be enough to make this one of the best places to stay in Provincetown - a few blocks from Commercial Street, a block from the Far Lands market, yet peacefully out of the fray on a quiet street. But there's also the fantastic kitchen, far superior to most vacation rentals.... the large back deck, garden and gas grill outside ... and the charm of the house itself, which can make even a rainy day a cozy pleasure. It's a great place for friends to converge after a day at the beach, or to start the morning with a hearty brunch and good coffee. Highest recommendations, just don't take my annual week!

a home in the heart of Ptown

I honestly don't want to write this review as I'd like to keep this cottage as my own secret hideaway, but good things deserve to be shared and this beautiful space is no exception.

The cottage is comfortable, impeccably decorated and appointed and has a location that cannot be beat as it is both peacefully quiet and convenient to all the action yonder on Commercial Street. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the deck automatically becomes the spot where you gather for your morning coffee and your evening cocktails and any meal in between.

But there is a je ne sais quois about this sturdy and quaint space that induces that precious tranquility that you come to Ptown to attain. It feels at times as if the house wants to simultaneously caress your shoulders and rub your feet. It certainly makes for some quality naps ;)

Am I overdoing it? You set foot into that soaking tub after a gorgeous day at the beach and tell me.

Awesome vacay spot

I had a fantastic time living in this house, sunning myself in the backward, strolling down to the beach when I felt like it. It was a perfect getaway after a crazy semester.
