Unbelievably beautiful water, abundant local wildlife including deer, loons, elk and eagles. Quiet, relaxing, clean, smoke-free. Fully equipped kitchen and 2 baths. Sleeps 2 - 9 people in 4 bedrooms. Living room with natural wood burning stone fireplace. Complete phone service, TV, VCR, stereo with CD Includes dock with 2 boat hoists.. Lounge chairs, barbecue grill, campfire. Direct access to Northern Michigan's inland waterway.

Great trout fishing in local rivers and walleye, perch and bass in lakes. Excellent ice fishing. Easy access off 1-75 Freeway (Topinabee-Indian River exit 313) Several nearby full-service marinas and boat launches. The location and setting of the cottage was most excellent! It was perfect for the Indian Rv. and Burt Lake adventures. We really liked the boat hoists as we had watercraft and there were some windy days. The cottage could have been a little cleaner for my taste.. food -dust under the furniture etc. But he layout etc was nice and roomy. We had to call for garbage pick up left from the previous renters. I would say overall we had a very good time. Like I said we were on the water most of the time and I would consider staying here again. Oh, a washer and dryer would be an excellent addition.. I would probably recommend it to a friend.

This cottage may look small on the outside - but it was very accomodating! New countertops and cupboards in kitchen and a spacious dining table that easily fit 10 people. 2 bedrooms are near kitchen area and 2 off of living room - it was perfect for our 2 families - separate but still together! Had a couple issues ( dock ladder floated away in rainstorm) but the caretakers were right there the next day to help. House was clean. Good screens- no mosquitos! but quite a few spiders hiding out in the corners. We would rent here again!
