Barefoot Bungalow is so accurate, since we didn't wear shoes the entire time we were there!
We had a wonderful time. Loved the house, the island, the people, and the food. It was all so good and just what we were looking for.
There is not much you could do to improve the house--it fit our needs and expectations perfectly. In fact, we thought having two bathrooms was divine! Everything was in tip-top condition, and you had pretty much anything one could need. We loved having a washer and dryer, so we could pack lighter. And the pool was so special at the end of a busy day. With the sun setting so early, there were a lot of hours between the beach and bed, so it was nice to have a safe place to jump in and cool off right before going to sleep. We also had a wonderful time with the local cuisine. Many of the restaurants were still closed for the slow season, but we did get to Coconuts, Bananas, Duffy's, Tradewinds, Roy's Coffee Shop, Belly Buttons, the sandwich shop in town, the Argentinian place in town (I think Momafongos?), and Coqui Fire. We LOVED Coconuts and actually went there three times. We even got to know some of the staff and saw many of the "regulars" around the island during the rest of the week. There is so much more I could share about all the fun and adventure we had on this trip, but I've got to get back to work (uggg). Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful bungalow with us. Oh, I almost forgot---thanks so much for the sweet and unexpected basket of treats, we especially loved both the coffee and the rum! That was so thoughtful.
