Photos and Description of the Addaia vacation villa rental Self-catering and right on the waterfront of the spectacular coast of Menorca

Villa Casablanca is a superbly located private seafront villa with ground level and roof terraces, a private swimming pool and all with spectacular views right on the sea. There is a large open plan kitchen, dinning room and sitting room all looking straight over the pool and onto the sea. The villa sleeps 6 comfortably in one double (with ensuite bathroom) and two twins (with a second shared bathroom -there is also a separate wc and poolside shower). The pool terrace also has aBBQ and an outdoor dining area for alfresco eating and BBQ's . Steps down to the sea take you to directly onto a the jetty from which to fish or swim and from where boats can be rented from Jose, the local chandler (certificate required). The local shops and restaurants are just 500m away and there are two beautiful beaches (Arenal and Macaret) less than 5 mins away by car. Parking is free beside the villa.

Villa Casablanca sits right on the sea overlooking Cala Moli bay on the small peninsula of Puerto Addaia. With the superb beaches of Arenal and Macaret just 5 minutes away and the shops, restaurants, bars, tennis and Dive centre of Addaia just 500 metres away there is no need to venture further. Yet Mahon and Fornells are tempting and at just 15 minutes away in either direction are easy to get to and the golf, restaurants and beaches of Son Parc are themselves only 10 mintues drive. For the adventurous Villa Casablanca makes an ideal spot from which to explore all the island has to offer ( with a boat licence you can even hire a day boat which is moored in front of the villa) and for those who want to relax there is no better spot than the pool on the terrace overlooking the sea and watching the world go by.

Diving in the area: There is an excellent dive shop (Ulmo Diving, e-mail Ali on ulmo@infotelecom.es) 500m away, with some of the best diving in Menorca offered from here.

Boat hire: Right below Casablanca there is a jetty. Here you can hire and keep a boat, (you need a boating license) and use this to explore the local beaches, some of which are only accessible by boat, and the snorkelling areas.

The location of villa casablanca is very beautyful. You look on the sea, little boots are there, you look on a little town opposite the shore side and you can swim. The pictures of the advertisment are realistic. The villa is very clean but several things could be reconditioned. The location is perfect to relaxing. I believe that I will go to the villa again next year.

This villa is in a stunning location with endless veiws of the sea and harbour. Just a brief stroll brings you to the peninsular where the veiws are continued, particularly spectacular at night with the lights reflecting on the water.
The villa is a little 'dated ' inside and in need of some TLC, although had everything you would need in a well equiped kitchen, although a bit tired looking, it was all very clean and comfortable. The pool also enjoys the veiws but remains private, (but is a bit slippy so children need to be closely watched) Overall you could not go to a more relaxing, pretty setting.The local shops are a good 15 min stroll (with children) and up a hill but manageable....You have the choice of few restaurants, the 'Castillo' seeming the most popular but most expensive, but food very good . The small supermarket next to the shops is well stocked and again not particularly more expensive than the bigger shops, although the supermarket in Coves Noves is a little cheaper. A nice family break for all !
