Just minutes from Blue Hill, this shore front rental is a wonderful family get-away. The downstairs interior is post and beam with a lot of pine wood and very open. It has a nice kitchen, living room with a beautiful hardwood floor and fieldstone fireplace, office, bath and laundry. Upstairs has a horseshoe balcony, three bedrooms, and bath.

Toddy Pond is lake-size and great fun for swimming, fishing, and boating. Here you can see and hear loons, pick wild blueberries from our private nearby field and just get back to nature. Enjoy Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, fine dining, and great gift shops all less than an hour's drive away.

This property was well described and sat very close to Toddy Pond which was visible from the kitchen and family room. Well-stocked kitchen and plenty of videos to enjoy. Convenient to Bucksport, Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. House provided canoes and kayak for fishing and exploring. Wildlife - evidence of moose in front yard. This time of year local merchants were closing up for the winter but purchased lobsters from a local market (on their last day open) and boiled them up - what a treat. Plenty of linens and paper products. Communication with owner was efficient and quick.
