Great Getaway

This cabin and surrounding area is a great place to get out of the rat-race! While it has all the amenities you could ask for it was peaceful, cozy and quiet as well. It is close to Asheville, Boone, Blowing Rock and Wolf Laurel for all the tourist visits but far enough away to enjoy all that nature has to offer. A great place for just two or a big family with the extra bedrooms and sleeping porch. People are friendly and warm and the owners are easily accessible. We have stayed here before and will do so again.
Owner's Response: I'm so glad you took advantage of the other great places to visit while you were here, Asheville Boone and Blowing Rock are fun places to visit. You have been here before so you know all the good places to go. Cattail is far away from the rat race. See you this spring.

Great getaway

Considering this was a last minute decision to get away to the mountains your cabin was awesome. The Red House was very cozy, comfortable and very pleasantly decorated My husband and I enjoyed the cool summer breeze on the balcony. The Hot tub was very refreshing, we loved the incredible rainforest views and the Great Room was a bonus. We had a wonderful time, thank you for sharing your cabin and we can not wait to do it again.

Had a great time. Cabin was clean and warm. Beautiful view and hiking trails. Good pressure in showers and sinks and loved having a washing machine. Looking forward to going back every year. Thank You so Very much Karen for the wonderful accomondations!

MY DREAM VACATION IN THE RED CABIN

THE PERFECT SPOT FOR PEACE AND QUIET.
I LOVE TO COOK AND I HAD NO PROBLEM CREATING
PERFECT MEALS FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. EVERYTHING THAT NEEDED WAS IN THE KITCHEN. IT
WAS COMPLETE & CLEAN. THE FIRE PLACE WAS MY
FAVORITE SPOT IN THE CABIN. HOT CHOCOLATE BY
THE FIRE WAS THE PERFECT ENDING TO A GREAT DAY OF WALKING IN THE WOODS AND BY THE CREEK. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO COMING BACK
THIS YEAR. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO MEET KAREN
AND THANK HER IN PERSON FOR ALL HER HELP AND
EFFORT TO MAKE US CONFORTABLE AND HAPPY.
YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE TO TRY THIS WONDERFULL PLACE FOR A PERFECT GETWAY.
