Apartment With Terrace, An Amazing View Over The Rooftops Of Venice

We offer a lovely apartment (attic) on the fourth and fifth floor (no elevator or lift) of a historical Venetian building located close to San Polo square (historical centre of Venice); 5 minutes from Rialto Bridge and close to the water bus-stops (San Silvestro stop, 300 mt or San Tomà stop, 200 mt). Recently restored and well-appointed, the apartment has all your desired comforts for a stay, full furnishings, air conditioning, washing machine, satellite TV, hair-dryer and internet connection (Wifi). San Polo Flat is composed of: one living room (with double-high and a great view over the rooftops of Venice), a small kitchen (sink, fridge, freezer, cookware, oven, glasses, dishes and utensils included), a double bedroom, another bedroom is on the split level (loft-room), bathroom (with shower and washing machine) and a beautiful terrace on the roofs (“altana”: typical Venetian wooden terrace) from where you can admire an amazing view of the city. The terrace is one of the highest in this area. Sleeps max four (4 persons). The price includes: cleaning, internet connection, bedding and towels.

The San Polo sestiere has its origins around its main square “ Campo San Polo” the largest of the city, second only to Saint mark’ s square. a fairly small district with lots of secretive lanes, some interesting sights including the Rialto Bridge, and shopping ranging from glove shops to the famous Rialto fruit, vegetable and fish marketplace. It's atmospheric and contains some useful addresses for shopping and for eating. Campo San Polo, the area's hub, is a large open space in Venice; a wide, irregular, dusty sort of square where local children and pet dogs run and play while adults chat. In the summer there's an open-air cinema here.

Our apartment is centrally located in the historic centre. The flat is in a well serviced area with food stores, supermarkets and all kind of shops. It’s not far from Rialto Bridge (400 meters from our apartment) and from the main and historical marketplace in Venice. Not faraway from our apartment there is also the Gondola boat stop to cross the Grand Canal to reach San Marco area; or you can reach San Marco area walking and crossing Rialto
