Trullo Giancarlo – a piece of ‘Italian heaven’ - only 15 minute walk, along a residential and well-lit lane to the centre of Alberobello (UNECSO World Heritage Site),

The Trullo is at the end of a small lane, set in 3,000 square meters of orchard, comprising of cherry, olive and fig trees. It has a large south facing patio and open views over the countryside.

The 6m x 3m private pool next to the patio is perfect for cooling down in the warm summer days.

A beautiful, tranquil and high quality Trullo !

  • 5 of 5

Top quality tastefully restored Trullo. Peaceful location for chilling out on the patio or at the poolside. We thoroughly appreciated this excellent property. The nearby town of Alberobello was also full of lovely bars, restaurants and historical places of interest that gave a true taste of Italy within a short walking distance. A full range of local shops also within 15 to 20 minutes walk. Would highly recommend this property.

Home from home

Great location the description was very accurate. 20 to 25 minutes walk to bars and restaurants along a well lit road. The owner was very good with comunications and couldn't do enough for us. The property was clean and well maintained. We would not have any problem recommending this lovely Trullo to anyone and would come back if in this area again. To us it was HOME FROM HOME felt very welcome.

Owner's Response: Trullo Giancarlo is definitely a 'piece of heaven' for you to enjoy, with the wonderful sights of Alberobello just a short distance away. Relaxing in the sun (or in the dappled shade), by the pool or on the patio. Of course you also have the hospitality and friendship of the wonderful people in the town and countryside to enjoy. The gentle walk into town is very relaxing, when you can see the sights and sounds of life that only Italians know how to live to the full. Enjoy your stay at Trullo Giancarlo, you will definitely want to return.

A real taste of Italy

  • 4 of 5

Having wanted a different holiday experience to our usual annual package deal, we set about googling holiday homes in Italy. After some time, we stumbled upon the Homeaway website with an abundance of places located across Italy.

The process was easy enough, once we decided on location; all we had to do was choose the property. Having looked at a few in the area, there was something unique and enticing about the Trullo in Alberobello. I felt it looked like a well-loved home with a lot of care and attention given to the little details. This after all, is what you look for when choosing a destination!

The person we dealt with was efficient and tentative with excellent communication, which was a great relief as we had never arranged our own holiday before! Having bit the bullet, we booked the Trullo and it did not disappoint. On arriving at the airport our car was ready and waiting (as hiring a car was recommended to us); we soon understood the freedom that having our own wheels brought us, days could be planned when it suited us, rather than having to find local transport, which in a foreign country can be frustrating if you don't speak the lingo!

On arrival my heart melted at the scenery; why hadn't we done this before! No-one fighting over pool space, no annoying children screaming, it was pure bliss. The place was warming and tranquil and I immediately felt settled once we checked out our surroundings; you could feel the stresses of life melting away...

Throughout the holiday we had free access to wifi; a nice touch as some places would charge extra for this facility. It enabled us to find things to do in the area and allowed us to plan effectively.

All in all, this holiday was by far the best we've had in many years. Now into our 30's it was exactly what we wanted; culture, scenery, peace and quiet! A real taste of Italy. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family.

A truly idyllic holiday that will set any romantic hearts on fire.

Beautiful Trullo

  • 5 of 5

Peacefully situated with just a short walk to local amenities. Very tastefully furnished and to a very high standard making this a comfortable and quaint holiday home. An ideal place to explore the unspoilt region of Puglia. The local produce Is wonderful to either cook with or to taste in the nearby restaurants. What a lovely place.

Perfect Holiday

  • 5 of 5

Our first visit to Italy could not have been more delightful than to spend a week at the picturesque Trullo set in a peaceful and rural area off a very quiet country lane. As we entered through the private gates, we were met with a stunning view of a beautiful Trullo, this was enhanced by the very well presented outside living space with its impressive vine trailing over the pergola above a lovely laid out eating area.

Inside we were treated to an inspiring design with all the comforts and mod-cons. We found the swimming pool a wonderful feature with fantastic views.

Although a quiet location it is within walking distance of Alberobello. We found a variety of wonderful restaurants and cafe`s, with lots to see in the charming side streets. There were shops and other buildings with lots of historic interests.

Wow what can we say we really found our own little bit of paradise! The accomodation was outstanding, we loved the rustic feel of the trullo, the owners obviously took a lot of time and care in renovating this property.

Alberobello is a beautiful destination with lots of great places to explore. We loved spending the afternoon soaking up the atmosphere in the town square, with a glass of vino

We will definitely be going back.
