We stayed at the boathouse with a group of friends to fish and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Tony and Matt were super helpful and welcoming and everything went very smoothly with payment, check in etc. The house and facilities are fantastic - a rare occasion where the photos really don't do the property justice! There was plenty of room for all of us and the house is very comfortably furnished. My first VRBO experience and this sets the bar very high!
I cannot describe the incredible experience we had at The Boathouse. Not only was the owner friendly, but the place was completely cleaned and smelt wonderful! Lake Vermilion is the perfect setting for a vacation and The Boathouse exemplifies the perfect vacation rental! Thank you for the incredible time!
Beautiful place. Had everything you needed. The Landing restaurant just across the lake was an enjoyable place to take the pontoon boat for dinner. The main house has 6 bedrooms with 6 1/2 baths. The bunkhouse has one bedroom with multiple beds and it's own bath. It was not a problem, but the advertisement made it seem as if there were 7 bedrooms along with the guest house. Highly recommend this property!
I was thoroughly impressed by the overall condition and accomodations that are provided by the owners of The Boathouse. Not only were we formally greeted properly, the whole property was absolutely clean! We cannot say enough the overall satisfaction that we experienced with every room having enough towels and soap/shampoo provided for us! It had WiFi and DirectTV for OUR convenience! Lake Vermillion was gorgeous and I would recommend this property to ANYONE who wants to relax and just enjoy themselves! Thank you Boathouse!
Our stay at The Boat House was better than my family could have imagined. Tony had everything we needed lined up and checked in to make sure we were happy and didn't need anything. The kids had a blast playing with the kayaks and canoe. They burnt off a lot of energy and that helped out the adults. lol. Tony lined up a pontoon boat for the family to use for fishing and a little water skiing. I have a large family and we all had plenty of private space and I took the upstairs room that looked over the lake, amazing way to wake up in the mornings. The boat in the great room in a sight to see. The kids couldn't figure out how they got it inside. My parents had such a good time. This trip was to celebrate their 50th anniversary and they commented how they couldn't imagine the trip going any better. Again I want to thank Tony for an amazing time and a great vacation experience. We will defiantly be back and will tell our friends about the great time we had.
Stayed with a group of friends and it was a great experience. The property was clean and well maintained. It felt like home (without all the headaches). It really lived up to the listing. The best part was listening to the loons out on the lake and the wind in the trees. Had many laughs and memorable moments. I would definitely recommend this property to others and hope to return again in the future. Don't forget your fishing poles!!!
