Our ground floor fully equipped apartment with patio opens out onto the gardens set in five acres of tropical splendour, with its own fresh water swimming pool with children’s area and poolside Chinese restaurant and bar.
Located within walking distance of the beautiful white sands and turquoise sea with an abundance of watersports, restaurants and Bajan culture. Close by, are the banks, a shopping mall, duty free and speciality shops, including a supermarket for all your needs. Positioned within easy access to discover and explore all aspects of the island. Frequent buses, taxis and car hire are minutes from the apartment.
Apartment rep and services: We offer a complimentary meet and greet service to and from the airport for customers who stay 2 weeks or more. We also have a representative who will find you the day after your arrival at the complex and will give you information on all the events happening and any bookings you wish to make on the many excursions, shows or dining you may wish to choose. She can also arrange car hire at competitive prices if required.
Places to visit: There are many gourmet restaurants in the area, if you wish to splash out. Also, many affordable restaurants such as 'Chefette', pizzas and many take-aways.
The beach is a short stroll away from the complex. To the north and south of Golden view is Paynes and Mullins beach, known to be the best beaches in Barbados. Two of the most prestigious golf courses, The Royal Westmoreland and Sandy lane, are practically on the doorstep. One could bump into one of many famous faces!.
Inland from Golden view you can visit the Harrison caves, which are unique, being discovered only recently. The beautiful botanical gardens and monkey park are also a must see.
Further on to the rugged east coast, the terrain is such that one can only go, to appreciate the splendour.

Where do we start. From the personal chaufeur from the airport to the easily accesible, clean and modern apartment within the wonderful complex of Golden View, My friend and I had a wonderful holiday in Barbados. The owner Kate is very pleasant and accomodating and quick to get back to any queries we had. The managers, Steve and Tina were also very helpful and kind and were available at any time via the phone. Sonia was very good at keeping the apartment clean and tidy.
Being imobile, the complex was the perfect accomodation for me, there was no need to use the lift or stairs and the layout of the place flowed nicely and made it easier to get around. The beautiful outdoor complex complete with swimming pool, was just out back and excellent to sit back relax in, in the warm evenings with a cocktail from the onsite bar. The beach and shopping mall were not too far neither.
I will definitely recommend the apartment to anyone who who wants to have a great stay in Barbados on the west coast.

This unit had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean, and the twice weekly service was welcomed. The on-site staff were friendly and helpful. The owners were very prompt with all inquiries, as was Tina, the property manager. We would highly recommend this property.
A wonderful apartment situated in a lovely position just a short walk from the best beach in Barbados, supermarket, restaurants and shops. The apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival and was cleaned twice a week. The apartment is more like someone's home rather that a holiday apartment with a feeling of being a home from home. The owner Kate is always very helpful and the agent on site could not of done more to make our stay a very memorable one.
We have already booked again and are looking forward to our return next year.
We have been going to Barbados now for 10 years, leasing a little chattel house just outside Speightstown, which we always loved, but decided we wanted a change, we liked Golden View Apartments after going to the onsite Chinese restaurant for a meal. We were fortunate to find this ground floor apartment on the internet, which we booked for our seven week holiday period from December to February 2011, we certainly have no regrets, the apartment, gardens and swimming pool we excellent, the other people we met, renters and owners alike were very friendly and we had a great holiday. We have no hesitation in booking this accommodation and venue again for the same period December to February 2012, we can't wait.

This was our first time in Barbados - we feel we had the best location / area possible for sure! The access to the grocery store @ 3 mins. walk away - and then cross the street for a meal /day at Zaccios' where we became regulars & as the food & service was excellent. We do like making our own breakfast in and snack at night. City buses readily available for very little and goes everywhere.

Tina - their rep - goes above & beyond to make your stay the most comfortable possible and is very accessible.
Sonia- the housekeeper - also does a great job!

Air conditionning isn't required - the ceiling fans do the job just fine.
Patio is great to sit and read - also with some books / magazines provided + sitting under tha palapia outdoors. Wireless access in the lobby was great - would of loved access right in the apartment - but at least it's there.
It's a very safe apartment to be at.
But for us personally, we prefer a more quiet environment & less populated area to stay in. It was a bit of a shock coming from St-Lucia where we stayed in a studio with 11 apartments only and overlooking the ocean to a complex of 128 apartments.
I always wanted to visit Barbados....and now I have.

Golden view is a condominium in Sunset Crest next to Holetown, in the parish of St James. It is situated on the west of the island known as the platinum coast because of its white sandy beaches. The capital of Barbados Bridgetown, is south of the apartments. The airport is approx. 30 minutes drive.
