We have a small lake to swim ( this is rustic country pond swimming, no fancy white beach swim!) and canoe in and 2 other fishing ponds and hiking trails and lots of wildlife! Keep an eye open for Blue heron, black bear, and deer. The beaver often swim just across the bank at the lakes’ over flow and will some times swim up to the canoe. Organic Shade Grown Coffee is in the freezer. Montfair's friendly staff is always available to answer any questions or concerns and we are glad to help in any way.

Our grandfather bought this property in the 1950's when he retired from Bethlehem Steel. He wanted to live in the mountains and was interested in land conservation and preservation. We are the third generation to call this property our home and we love to share it's natural beauty with friends, travelers, and families.
