The location is great. Great water view from the house and porch. There are a lot of stairs down to the beach, so if you have mobility issues, this may be a problem. Otherwise, you really can't get much closer to the water. There are a couple hours at high tide where there's no beach, so be aware and plan accordingly. The house itself is old and not updated in every way. There is a TV that's small but sufficient (not the point of vacation anyway), and there's wi-fi, so basic modern needs are met. The lighting throughout is pretty dull, and there aren't a ton of outlets - there are enough, but not as many as you expect in newer houses. Again, something to be aware of, but not bad. Biggest detriment is the master bedroom gets hot and stays hot, the ceiling fan really doesn't help, there aren't good windows for a cross-breeze, and there aren't outlets near windows to pull in air with a fan. It may have the best views, but it has drawbacks. The full bed room doesn't get a cross breeze, but also doesn't get as warm, and the twin bedroom has great windows for a cross breeze and stays pretty cool at night.
The coffee maker could probably use replacing. It took >30 minutes to make a pot of coffee.
One last thing: the road to the house has a lot of turns and narrow parts, and there are always a lot of residents from the area walking with kids or dogs, so just pay attention to your surroundings and be mindful of the 10 mph speed limit.
