Great Home by the Beach

Just got back from our week's stay at this house and it was wonderful. I was a little nervous as I rented the house for my family and another family and I took care of all the arrangements and I wanted it to be really nice. Well, I shouldn't have worried. The property was clean and well maintained. The layout on the main floor works really well for a large group. There is a kitchen which flows right into the dining room, the living room and also flows right out to a large deck with two sets of sliding glass doors. We were a pretty large group (four adults, four teenagers) and we all had plenty of room. Out on the large deck (which has a pretty view of the salt pond) is a nice outdoor dining set and a gas grill which worked great (we used it 3-4 times). Kitchen is equipped nicely (coffee maker, fridge, oven, dishwasher, toaster oven, etc.) all appliances were on the new side, worked well, and were clean. The house is equipped with wifi which was really speedy and nice to have as we brought our laptops. Bedrooms were great, nice size, and beds were comfy. Downstairs on the lower level is a bedroom and a second family room which was great to have with the kids. Short walk to Kelly beach (a really nice relaxed family orientated beach). This is a quiet residential area. We saw a lot of people jogging, biking, walking, etc. While we were there, we went to Newport, block Island, Providence, Narragansett town beach, scarborough state beach and Galilee beach (in Point Judith). I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and just a note, the pictures of the property (taken during the winter) do not do it justice. It is really a beautiful house with high ceilings and a wonderful view of the salt pond, and a beautiful oversized yard . We found it very relaxing (even with four teenagers) and way, way better than staying in a hotel/motel.
