We stayed in this lovely villa for 5 nights. It was clean, spacious, and the location (steps from the beach and main Rio Mark resort hotel) couldn't have been better. Initially,it was a bit of a challenge to find the rental office, but once we did, everyone associated with the property was very helpful and friendly. Because we visited in the "off season", there were very few other renters and our children felt like they had the beach and two huge pools to themselves.
We tried several restaurants at the hotel, and while the food was fine, it was definitely overpriced. Luckily, the villa owners' guide led us in better directions for off-site food, and we loved Lolita's and Madre Tierra (both on Route 3).
The hotel spa was a real treat! And we used the hotel's adventure service, Dragonfly, for outings to the rainforest (zip lining for some, horseback riding for others). We made our own day trip to Old San Juan, the Outlet Mall, and rain forest hiking.
We would definitely recommend this villa and hope to return soon.
