Spacious, A-frame mountain Cottage, located at Land Harbor Mountain Resort, in Linville NC. Pristine Mountain Lake, 18 home golf course, heated swimming pool (summer only). These are just a few of the things available at Mountain Harbor. Your only minutes away from Grand Father Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie R.R., Boone, Linville caverns, trout fishing, Alta Pass Apple House, Appalachian Trail, and lots of mountain back roads to esplore. The perfect High Country family getaway. Also the Woolie Worm Festival and the Highland Games are just minutes away. Our Cottage offers a spacious get away for the vacationing family. On the next line below bed set up ( a 15 minute drive to the entrance of Beech & Sugar Mountain ski lodges.) Last sentence ( My cottage has a gas Log Heater , electric base board, for warmth. Summer we have natures usual 70 degree.

You're approximately a 15 minute drive to beach and Sugar Mountain ski lodges. You're only 15 minutes from Boone on Hwy. 221. You're also only approximately 2 miles from the entrance to Grand Father Mountain. My cottage is located in Linville Land Harbor with our own security, golf course, mountain lake and 2 miles of Linville River running through our community. My cottage has a gas Log Heater , electric base board,for warmth. Summer we have natures usual 70 degree.

Linville Land Harbor: Land Harbor is located in beautiful Linville NC. It consist of around 1500 houses, a beautiful mountain lake and an eighteen hole private golf course available to owners and guest. The elevation is 3600 ft. above sea level. Cool in the summer and close to the Ski resorts in the winter. In the summer we have a heated pool available to our guest. You may hike the Linville River or any of the trails in Land Harbor.

Local Flavor: Newland, Banner Elk, Pineola, Boone, and Blowing Rock are all just minutes away for you to explore and enjoy the Mountains of the High Country. Also the Blue Ridge Parkway is only minutes away. Mountain overlooks, picnic grounds, the Orchard at Altapas are just a few of the jewels of this highway. Grandfather Mountain is just minutes away also.

Fall & Winter: In the fall we have the Wollie Worm Festival, and this occurs during our Beautiful color season. The High Country has the most brilliant colors of the North Carolina Mountains. With the passing of fall Winter at any of the local Ski Resorts is only minutes away from my mountain Cottage. Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Seven Devils, are just a few of the Resorts you may ski.

This cabin was fantastic. Just what our family of 5 needed to start the 2004 year off. Clean and spacious. We hope the Frisbees will allow us to visit again. Thanks....

We enjoyed our stay in the month of August. The A-frame was nicely furnished. It was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of dishes,glasses,etc. It was very comfortable when we had six adults in the A-frame. The people in Land Harbor are very frendly and helpful. The temperates were in the 70's daytime and 60's at night. Next time we would to stay longer.
