This beautiful cottage is in excellent condition. It is fully furnished 2-3 bedroom on Lake Algonquin in Wells, NY. Lake Algonquin is a 360 acre all sports lake: swimming, boating, paddling & fishing (dock provided). You're welcome to bring your boat.This property is NON-SMOKING !!

The quaint town of Wells is located 7/10 of a mile on the opposite side of the lake. Groceries, laundromat, post office & churches are conveniently located in town. Several restaurants conveniently located.

Our Cottage is located at the end of a Dead-End gravel Town Maintained road.

Swimming geese and ducks greet you as ' You Greet The Day ' with coffee on the cottage-wide,bug - free screened in porch, 40 feet from this serene Alpine Lake. Surrounded by nearby Mountains this IS The Summer / Fall place to be.

My family and I spent a wonderful week at this quiet and peaceful cottage located on Lake Algonquin in Wells, NY. This is a beautiful location near Adirondack State Park with fishing, hiking, whitewater rafting and a selection of restaurants within a short drive. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well maintained. And meeting the owner was like visiting an old friend. The owner provided several day trip suggestions to help us make the most of our stay. Great hospitality and well worth it – My family all agrees we would definitely go back again.
Owner's Response: Our Central Southern Adirondack location is actually located IN the NYS- Adirondack Park. Proximity to a huge variety of activities is our Greatest Locational Strength. Peaceful serenity at the end of Dead-End road completes our Lakefront experience ....Come and ENJOY!!!

The place was well located, well maintain and very clean. Allan and Barbara, the owner,s were very helpfull and charming. The view on the lake is splendid. I will recomend it to any one.

An absolute gem!

We've stayed in lots of Home Away properties and this one is truly wonderful. A picture-perfect setting right on lake algonquin (you can use the free kayaks to explore, or just dive in from the jetty). The beautiful grassy bank leading to the waters edge is heaven and there's a fire pit and BBQ as well as views you just want to stare all day at. The owners barb and allen who live in the house up the hill just could have not been more warm and welcoming (letting us borrow their camp chairs to watch the 4th july fire works in the nearby town and even leaving us marshmellows to toast on the fire pit). The cottage is really cosy and thoughtfully decorated - we spent lots of time in the light-filled front porch and found the whole place to be super spacious and well equipped. We just stayed as a couple but there are two bedrooms (and extra sleeping in the front room) so it would be great for families and couples traveling together). as soon as i arrived i new we'd be back and we are looking forward to our next stay already!!
