Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

This family-owned Ridge Villa (Unit 1013-15) was renovated a few years ago and boasts spectacular views of the ocean and the island of Molokai. The villa is ideally located just steps from the walkway that leads down to the secluded and beautiful Oneloa Beach. Only approximately a 2 minute walk from the villa, Oneloa Beach is terrific for boogie boarding or just taking in the breathtaking beauty of Kapalua. Other nearby beaches, including Kapalua Bay and D.T. Fleming Beach, are within 10 minutes walking, and both have been ranked by prior surveys as among the top five beaches in America. The Ritz Carlton hotel is also within a 10 minute walk as well as restaurants, the Honolua store, the Kapalua Golf Academy and the Kapalua Adventure Center. In addition, the Spa at Kapalua (largest on Maui) is a 5 minute walk from the villa and offers a full array of spa treatments, a first rate gym and different fitness classes. Finally, the villa is perched conveniently above one of the Ridge pools, which are never crowded and always impeccably maintained. For families with children old enough to be independently down by the pool, the villa provides an easy way to periodically keep an eye on them. In addition, with two always immaculately cleaned gas barbecue grills in the pool patio area, staying home to grill doesn't get more convenient.

The villa sleeps up to 4 persons with a king bed in the master bedroom and two double beds in the other bedroom. Both bedrooms have full adjoining bathrooms with his and her sinks and walk-in closets. There is also a third guest bathroom that has a shower for the quick rinses after coming back from the beach or pool. With nearly 1800 sf of interior living space (plus an expansive wraparound lanai) all on one level, there is certainly enough space to accommodate additional persons to the extent it's needed. All rooms have air conditioning units, but are often not needed given the quite pleasant trade winds that are characteristic of Kapalua.

As mentioned above, the villa was renovated with (i) new tile flooring and cabinets in the kitchen, bathrooms and entryway, (ii) new carpeting throughout, (iii) new appliances including a new washer/dryer, (iv) new fixtures, ceiling fans and air conditioning installed, (v) new living room, dining room and bedroom furniture and (vi) bathroom upgrades. The living room and bedrooms have flat panel televisions with DVD players in the living room and 2nd bedroom. In addition, the unit is set up with WiFi access. The villa also has its own (non-shared) covered parking space, but Kapalua also offers free shuttle service throughout the resort to the extent that you choose not to drive.

Beautiful Condo in Kapalua

We returned last night following a five night stay at this property and loved every minute of it. The condo was very spacious, stocked with everything that we needed, and had beautiful views of the ocean and property. We have stayed in the Kapalua area before and love the convenience of everything on the property as well as the lovely manicured grounds. The complimentary shuttle is very handy and we used it often to go to the beach. Other great things about the area are the Honolua Store, the spa and pool at the Ritz Carlton, Kapalua Bay, and the boardwalk trail along the shore. I felt that the property was better than shown in the pictures. Everything was clean and well maintained. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone. It's very large and could easily accommodate 4-6 people. The property pool is right below, but we had no trouble with noise level.

Wonderful Vacation!

Stayed with my husband and two twenty something sons. It was a perfect vacation lodging for all of us with the unit living up to all that is stated in the description. We were especially happy with the comfort, cleanliness and set up of the condo. The air conditioning units and internet cable access were a plus to our comfort. The views are spectacular from the main living area and the master bedroom. The beach, within walking distance, is gorgeous and great for body surfing or boarding. Kapulua Bay is a longer, beauitful walk but one can take the shuttle if needed. The grounds are manicured perfectly. The unit is on the bottom floor but we never heard the people staying above. Also, with the unit somewhat overlooking the pool area, we were not bothered by any noise. The condo is nicely situated within the Ridge complex. Property management was prompt, effective and friendly to our inquiries. We would definitely stay in this condo on any future visit to beautiful Maui!
