In a select wooded development, detached villa split into 2 units (linked by external steps), both of which are fully equipped with modern kitchens and lounges with satellite TV/video. The upper level has 2 en-suite bedrooms 1 double and 1 spacious 3-bedded (incl bunk beds) Lounge opens onto a balcony where you can sit and eat while taking in the stunning sea views. The lower level has 1 double en-suite + a twin with separate shower room and toilet. Outside there is a shaded external eating area with rural views and a larger patio with almond tree, an ideal setting for group meals, BBQs and chill-outs. Steps lead from here to the pool with sunbathing area and a flat grass area. From the villa's elevated position there are beautiful views across a vineyard & pine forest to the sea. A delightful 20 minute walk through the pines brings you down to the beach in the unspoilt fishing village of Tamariu and some charming seafront restaurants.

Set in a quiet and established wooded development of individual villas half way between the town of Palafrugell and the lovely hill-top town of Begur(approx 5 mins drive ), where there are shops, banks and restaurants. The old 12th century castle sits above Begur and is floodlit at night. Don't miss a walk up day or night to see the stunning views up the coast towards the Bay of Roses. There are also fascinating medieval villages to visit - a trip to Pals is a must as well as Peratallda. Convenient for the beaches at nearby Tamariu, Llafranc and Aigua Blava (all about 10 minutes drive) and a host of other coves. Delightful walks in the pinewoods and fields down from the villa. Gerona is approximately 45 mins drive and Figueres, the home of the amazing Dali museum is a similar distance. Barcelona itself is just under 2 hours.

Very well equiped home, ideal for 2 families with children. Very quiet. Beautiful view & environement . Close to the sea & to great places to visit.

Great house for 2 families

We have just come back from this great villa and really found it to be excellent for two families. We would definately recommend it ( but not to families with children younger than 6 because of the steps and drops off terraces).

Both sections of the house are large (with 2 large kitchens). Both kitchens are well equipped and the villa was very clean.

It is situated in a very quiet wooded area above Tamariu and there was plenty of shade around the pool and on the terraces.

We would recommend that a good torch is taken if you are considering walking to Tamariu for dinner as the footpaths back are very dark at night and rough (but manageable).

The owner and agents in Spain were efficient.

We would definately consider returning to this property.
