Our cottage sits on the beach with a spectacular view of Cape Cod Bay & Provincetown Harbor at the very tip of Outer Cape Cod. The cottage is a two-story traditional Cape Cod cedar shake structure. The cottage has two bedrooms upstairs with one double bed (sleeps 2) and one double/ single mattress bunk bed (sleeps 3). Downstairs is a great room/ kitchen, with one queen-sized sleeper sofa (sleeps 2). Cable TV/DVD is provided, as is parking for two cars. There is a private outside deck and a private beach. There are magnificent sunsets viewable from the deck/ beach. Although the ocean on Cape Cod can be chilly, Cape Cod Bay is a very comfortable (and sometimes balmy) temperature throughout the summer. The Bay is a clean and extremely inviting place to swim, sun and explore at low tide. The bay is just steps away through beautiful natural dunes. As a tidal body of water, the bay is very different day-to-day. The tidal shifts reveal a great abundance of wildlife and natural drama.

Location: Cape Cod < Massachusetts < USA

Truro sits at the end of the Cape. Despite its isolated geography, you can either do nothing or you can be quite busy. Provincetown is an artist's community that is within walking distance. There is also a shuttle every 20 minutes that picks you up at the cottage area. Ptown (as it is known) has great restaurants, art galleries, & and shopping. MacMillan's Wharf offers whalewatches (where you are guaranteed to see whales!), as well as fishing charters. Cape Cod's fishing is legendary. Seaside nature trails for hiking and biking are closeby. There is also an abundance of historical activity on the Cape.
