Truro is located on the outer part of Cape Cod - between Provincetown and Wellfleet. Over 60% of Truro is designated as part of the protected National Seashore - and this limits development. From our home one can easily visit Bay and Ocean Beaches, swim in Kettle Ponds, and bike and hike thruout acres of conservation land. Nearby opprtunities exist to go whaling or birdwatching (Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary - run by Mass Audubon - offer guided hikes and various programs). The area offers unique art galleries, miniature golf, tennis, golf, fishing and great restaurants.

In Truro you can golf at Highland Golf Links There is tennis available in neighboring Wellfleet. Truro's beaches are recognized as among the most beautiful in the world. Whale watching, bird watching, fishing and hiking are readily available. Truro has a public library and a center for the arts.

If someone is looking for a clean, roomy and quiet home on the Cape, this one would be a perfect choice. The kitchen is well equipped and even the basement is as clean as the whole house.
Beaches, shopping and restaurants are all a short drive away. We often made the 4 minutes drive to Longnook beach, which is surely one of the best on the Cape. It's easy to work with the owners and all
emails were answered immediately. Conclusion in two words: "highly recommended!".

We have rented Cape Cod houses for many years and this one is wonderful. It is exceptionally quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees and with great views from the upstairs windows. It is prettily furnished and decorated, and gets a lot of light. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The house is very clean. The basement is huge, clean, and dry with plenty of storage for bicycles, surfboards, and beach equipment. The furnishings are very comfortable, including the futon in the study and the sleep sofa in the den, and these two extra rooms provide extra private sleeping space, so it's a great house if you have friends visit overnight. It is a short trip to Provincetown and to many beautiful beaches. The owners are very easy to work with. You do have to drive to the bike trail, and there's no gas grill (there is a charcoal grill.) Overall, an exceptionally comfortable and pleasant home. I would highly recommend this home, and also look forward to staying there again.

Perfect beach house, roomy and comfortable!!

We have been renting houses in Truro for the last 7 years and this one is one of the best. Its very roomy and comfortable, plenty of kitchen space, beautifully appointed. We had 8 people and were not in each others way. We go out to Race Point and enjoy the beach there. Its less than 10 minutes to get there. Very convenient to shopping, great restrauants, and Provincetown. We will definitely rent this one again!!
