Backyard:
The good size backyard is flat and semi-private with a tall fence across the back and across one side. Lots of sun to lay out in and some shade trees to cool off under. The patio area has a outdoor table & chairs, beach chairs, picnic table and gas grill for family cookouts. Enclosed outdoor shower with hot & cold water.
Baby items:
We have a pack & play for the baby to sleep in. A highchair for the kitchen or outside. A small umbrella stroller.
These items will be available for you if you request them as they are not stored at the cottage.
Beaches:
The nearest ocean & salt water beaches are all located on Nantucket Sound. They all have parking fees, lifeguards, snack bars & sanitary facilities.
Dennisport Beaches:
Glendon Rd Beach: is less than a mi, a 12 min walk & 2 min drive by car. A Hot Dog & Burger Stand with picnic tables outside, are on the way to the beach and across from the beach is a restaurant with views of the ocean.
Perfect for little kids because it is smaller and close by.
Halgis Beach & Sea St Beach: is less than a mi, 15 min walk & 3 min drive.
W Dennis Beach: is a larger beach & also has a bath house and is 2 1/2 mi & 7 min drive.
S Yarmouth has 2 large beaches with a bathhouse, sanitary facilities, parking fees, lifeguards & snack bars.
Smugglers Beach: is 13 min and 5.09 mi away and also has a boat launch ramp & boat parking, pier with fish table & water hose. Even has a Sun Rise Service at 7:30 am on Sunday Morn in July & Aug on the pier with benches.
Sea Gull Beach: is a 19 min drive & 7.05 mi
