Clean, Quiet, Charming, Heated Pool, Whirlpool, A/C, Walk to Beach

The owner's descriptive title of this property is completely accurate. We found the property extremely clean, the layout of the home encouraged use of the expansive deck which is very private, the plunge pool was something new to us but delightful, the room a/c's were very helpful and the walk to Boat Meadow beach easy. The kitchen was completely stocked with cooking/dining needs and again well planned. We brought linens/towels and the laundry facilities were accessible and efficient. The owner provided an information sheet of local restaurants, beaches, etc. The charming description reflects the home appearance and decorator's interest in fairies (which is interesting but not overbearing) Although pricey for the week, the Cape location and the property details put this property in that price range for that time period.

We just returned from a week at this house and it worked out very well. The location is excellent- right off the Orleans rotary, with easy access to the Stop & Shop grocery store, lots of restaurants in Orleans, plus easy drives to Chatham, and Eastham/Wellfleet. You can walk/bike to Boat Meadow beach, but it's pretty small and we just went down to watch sunsets. For beach days we drove a short distance to Skaket Beach in Orleans on the bay side (warmer water, very small surf, large tide with tidal pools at low tide, good skim-boarding, really great for kids), or Nauset Beach in Orleans on the ocean side. The kitchen is large and open, everything is very clean, bedrooms are comfortable, each with TV and own bathroom. Nice large deck and outdoor shower. The plunge pool is about 8x15, and at first looks small but was actually great. Our 5 and 2 year olds loved it, it kept them nice and contained, and they were always within reach of us. Great for cooling off after a morning bike ride or returning from the beach, or just relaxing and reading a book on a pool lounger. We really couldn't have asked for a better house, and to top it all off the owner Susan is super nice.
