More about Quawk Cottage:
Quawk has been our family vacation spot since 1952. It is our home, and we regard our tenants as our guests. We hope you enjoy Quawk. We ask that you treat it gently (it's a very old house, circa 1860s).
Quawk Cottage is located on Hines Point and was built by Mr. Hine as a summer home for his daughter when she got married. It was named Quawk Cottage because there was a rookery of black-crowned night herons (otherwise known as quawks) in the immediate area. Today there are none.
