4 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom Villa Close To The Beach

Situated in one of the most sought after areas in the Algarve, this front line villa boasts 180 degree panoramic views of the sea and the stunning beach at Porto do Mos. The 1.5km beach is only a few minutes walk away and has two good restaurants for dining.

The villa is of exceptional specification with a good sized swimming pool (10mx5m) set in a private garden with ample space for sunbathing and outside dining, including a BBQ.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 of which have UK standard queen size beds and the fourth bedroom having 2 single beds. Two bedrooms are ensuite whilst the 3rd and 4th share a bathroom. Satellite TV is available in the lounge and also a TV snug which has a PS3 and 50' TV. Internet access is available on request. The high specification kitchen also has separate washing and drying facilities. The garage houses a pool table and there is ample parking available.

We had the pleasure of staying at this villa with our son & his wife, daughter & partner along with our two young granddaughters for a week mid-May to celebrate my 65th, and were delighted with both the spaciousness, cleanliness and the quality of the villa, as well as its peaceful and stunning location.
First impressions on going into the large entrance hall with its granite/marble staircase were that we’d chosen very well. Things just got better & better as we were shown around the rest of the rooms and bedrooms by the very helpful Dina, all of which are furnished and soft furnished to a lovely and impressive standard.
The pool area & outdoor eating areas kept up the theme with comfy & clean cushions on the sun loungers & chairs, and, thanks to the design of the neighbouring villas, this villa enjoys excellent peaceful privacy.
A short stroll took us down to the spectacular golden sands and the 2 very acceptable beach bars where we frequently visited for either lunch or dinner when not venturing out or barbecuing.
The InterMarche supermarket is only a couple of minutes drive away and offers extensive and quality choice, with plenty other decent supermarkets slightly further towards Lagos.
When we ventured into Lagos or the marina on an evening we used the convenient local bus service from just by the beach bar which is a regular hourly service and runs until around 11.30 pm, although it was almost as cheap for the 8 of us to get one of the minibus taxis back for 8 euros, so guess that pro-rata the saloon type taxis for 4 are only around 4 euros.
Ours was a last minute booking having been badly let down by another villa owner 10 days before our trip, but, with hindsight, they did us a real favour as we couldn’t have wished for better owners to deal with than Jo & Jim who were so helpful, efficient and genuinely pleasant.

Jo and Jim, thank you. The villa exceeded our expectations by a large margin. The website photos, although accurate, do not do the villa justice. The realisation when we arrived was like kids in a toy shop! As we went from room to room, and there's a lot of them, we took in the superb quality and very high level of furnishings and fittings. Dina met us on schedule and showed us around. We were impressed with the standard of cleanliness and shear opulence. We are sure that to find another villa of this high standard would be very difficult.

Upon seeing the patio, pool and ocean views our breath was taken away. We spent many an hour just taking it all in. Each evening the little fishing boats appeared, complete with lighting to attract the fish, and then one by one went back to port full of squid etc.

Down on the beach is a fabulous daytime cafe and evening meal venue with a superb menu and good pricing, it's called Antonio's. You've got to give them a visit.

Overall a beautiful villa that is worth every penny and is a credit to the owners, Jo and Jim.

Exactly as advertised, if not better!!

The house was fantastic. Great location - short downhill walk to the beach (less than 5 min). Unobstructed views of the ocean from the cliff. Great running/walking trail that runs along the cliff in front of the house. Close to grocery shopping and town but having a car is highly suggested. The owner and house manager were both wonderful to deal with. We had 5 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. If we go back to Portugal, we would stay here again.

Surpassed our expectations!!

On our arrival we were meet by Dina who showed us how everything work & gave us her mobile number encase of any problems which was very reassuring but not needed thankfully.

The villa was perfect it surpassed our expectations. Large, spacious, well equipped & sparkling clean.

The sun was on the patio from sunrise to sunset with glorious views.

One guest stripped the bed to find the make & supplier so she could purchase one on her return to the UK. So we can safely say they were very comfortable, as were the luxury sun beds.

Local beach bars transformed into wonderful restaurants of an evening that severed really good trational Portuguese food & a fish lovers heaven. Cocktails 4euros!!!

I was on a golfing trip with 7 other ladies ( best pro shop for ladies clothing was at Beau Vista 5 mins from the villa) & the villa never felt over crowded plenty of bathrooms for all of us to spread out into.

Not one of us could come up with a negative point about our time at the villa except the time flew by too quickly.

We will not hesitate to book again.

Porto do Mos has a beautiful beach which is protected by high cliffs. At low tide shallow rock pools can be accessed at each end of the beach making this an ideal location for families. There are two restaurants located on the beach and cliff top walks give an ideal opportunity to view the stunning scenery and are well marked out. Lagos is a 5 minute drive away and is a vibrant, working town with many shops and restaurants. The Marina also offers fishing and sightseeing trips. International supermarkets are close by.
