House location:
The quiet, serene, private yet convenient location of the house make it the perfect vacation spot in Eastham. With access to the bike path and private tennis courts at the dead end of the street, one can get up early to enjoy an outdoor activity. The more sedentary can enjoy watching the variety of birds from the expansive deck across the back of the house which connects to the room over the garage. You can bike to a beautiful fresh water pond, Herringbrook Pond, or to First Encounter Beach, a lovely bay beach. The ocean beaches, Nauset Light and Coast Guard, are a short 5 minute car ride. The energetic biker can enjoy biking here, too. Just a short trip, on the back road, and you are in Orleans. Here you will find fabulous restaurants, Super Stop and Shop, T.J. Maxx, the Christmas tree shops and many smaller locally owned specialty shops. Both Chatham (upscale, quiet with many shops) and Provincetown (unique, artsy, great restaurants) are equidistant by car.
