Situated on Mayo Beach in Wellfleet, MA, this two bedroom, brick cottage is a Cape Cod classic. The perfect blend of old and new, this cottage is fully equipped throughout including wireless internet, free national long distance, hardwood floors, fireplace, antiques and original artwork. It is literally steps away from the bay, down the road from a full playground which includes tennis and basketball courts, and a short walk to Wellfleet Harbor and the center of town. If location is everything then this spot is perfect. You are literally 15 minutes from Provincetown and Orleans by car and all the entertainment and restaurants that these artist's colonies have to offer. Whether you want the tranquility of endless hours on the beach or a little excitement on a rainy day, it is all seconds or minutes away.

Wonderful Retreat

We spent a week at this home. It was just as I imagined it to be, clean, comfortable and convienient. Within a stone's throw away from the beach, we got up and walked the long deserted beach every morning.
We heard the waves lapping up against the shore from the house and marveled at the beauty all around us.
It rained for a lot of our stay, but that didn't dampen our spirits one bit!
We drove from this property to various locations in Cape Cod but had it not been for the rain, walking would certainly have been an option.
The only downside was the shower. The water pressure is low. So washng my hair took longer than usual.
Overall, it was a truely wonderful experience and I would reccomend this house in a heartbeat.
