Thank you for all you did to make our stay on the Cape so much fun. The cottage was adorable, Bob really liked the outdoor shower and we enjoyed candlelight dinners on the deck. We could go on forever about the things we enjoyed but just wanted to thank you again for everything. Hard to get used to the Texas heat after the beautiful weather on Cape Cod!
A true Cape Codder. My ancestors came over from England on the Confidence in 1637. My great .......grandfather, Augustine Bearse, married Princess Mary Hyanno. Hyannis was named after her and also several streets in the Town of Barnstable were named after my family .
I inherited this property from my father who passed away in 1997. Our house was built in 1658, the rental cottage in the rear of the property was built in 1949 and completely renovated when we acquired this property. My family - Mom, Dad, sister and I would rent our house in Osterville and spend summers in this cottage when we were young. Back then we had an icebox on the deck and the current bedroom was divided in two.
One mile to beautiful Craigville Beach - walk to famous Four Seas Ice Cream, churches, country store, library. Laundromat, pharmacy, grocery store 1 mile - 2 miles from Main Street Hyannis with quaint shops, restaurants, walkway to the sea, ferries to Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard, fishing boats - 3 miles from Cape Cod Mall.
