3 large sunny comfortable rooms perfect for friends and families

Perfect for up to 4 people (a couple, families with 2 children, or for groups of friends), the apartment is 70sq metres large. Clean, comfortable and bright, it includes three large rooms, a bathroom and a lobby. The kitchen is nicely divided into a dining and a cooking area, provided with a fridge, some small appliances (for toasts and juices) and perfectly organized with pots and pans, kitchen devices and dishes for up to 6 people. The bathroom with shower has just been totally renovated. The double bedroom has a big wardrobe and looks onto some internal gardens to insure quiet sleep. The sitting room can be turned into another bedroom thanks to a sofa that, if needed, becomes a comfortable double bed. It is also provided with a TV set, shelves with books in English and German, games and a table/desk. A balcony overlooks some nice green gardens.

The apartment is located in the first Northern residential belt on the border of the city centre, in a quiet area within a short distance from the central train station. The area is very well served with 3 supermarkets, 3 public parks, cafés and a bus stop at 50 metres from the building. At some steps only there is a daily street market with food, cloths and household goods. There are car parking facilities down the road or else in a private garage nearby.

The building has no lift, but the apartment is only on the third floor. It is provided with individual heating system, a washing machine and a hair-dryer. Towels and sheets are included.

The owner lives at 200 metres from the building and is at disposal for any need. She has been a professional guide in Florence for 15 years now and speaks English, German and Spanish.

Why Marilena chose Historic Center

It was my Mum who purchased the apartment for me and my sister in the 70s to give us a place to live in at the time of the university. From an apartment for students, it then turned into a love nest for me and my husband when I got married. I was still leaving there when my two daughters were born. In 2000 my family and I moved into a larger house but wanted to remain in the vicinity since I've always loved this area very much, in fact I live at 200 metres from my former house.

What makes this apartment unique

Within walking distance from the very heart of the city, it is in a quiet and well served quarter framed by the lovely Northern hills of Florence. The apartment has been recently refurbished and the bathroom totally renovated with the intention to offer a clean and comfortable flat to visitors where they can enjoy the authentic life of Florence. Warm in winter and cool in the summertime, its large and comfortable rooms are painted in colours and looks onto some large green gardens. Slightly apart from the most central areas, always crowded and noisy during the high tourist season, it is not afflicted by the chaotic hectic of the city centre.

In half an hour you can reach the Chianti district and enjoy a wine tour, or play golf at Ugolino green
