Walking distance from Lake Tashmoo and Vineyard Haven. Very near beautiful Tashmoo Beach. Lots of amenities including fully stocked kitchen, linens, gas grill, and digital piano. Located on very quiet, dead-end street surrounded by woods. Wireless, high speed Internet. Beds: Queen in master bedroom, twin beds in second bedroom, trundle beds in third bedroom, futon sleep sofa in living room. Master bedroom has private bath with whirlpool tub and sliding doors leading out to lower deck. Recent renovations include electric skylights with blinds in the living room, new wood floor, and beautiful french doors opening onto the deck. Pet-friendly. ***Newly Remodeled Master Bath with 2-Person Whirlpool Tub*** High speed, wireless Internet access.

Great to get back to the Vineyard

We stayed at the house in the summer of 2006 for two weeks. It was a blast, I have to agree with the other reviews, the wild turkeys were fun to watch. The home is a close walk to town and our kids loved biking into town as well. The outside decks really allow for a fun night of watching the stars. We are really looking forward to getting back there again soon.

This is an awesome, spacious and relaxing home that is nestled in the natural beauty of Vineyard Haven. If you are looking for a soothing vacation, then this is the home for you! Amenities like, cable TV, cooking and dinning ware, laundering facilities, Jacuzzi, gas grill, and best of all - two bathrooms are not the only accommodations that make this home special. It is the atmosphere, the wild turkeys crossing through the backyard, the calm breeze, and the distant boat whistle. It is also the convenience to town! The home is a stones throw to town by bicycle and a nice calm walk for breakfast to MV Bagel Authority or to The Black Dog or even for dessert at Mad Martha’s! This is more than a house to me and the party in which I just vacationed with. I will be back again and for years to come!

This was the perfect place for three generations of family, ranging in age from 25 to 94, to vacation together! It had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation: a coffee table for the jigsaw puzzle; decks off the dining room and living room for grilling and eating the lobster and fresh fish from the market; a washer and dryer to clean up after a trip to the beach; a full kitchen with a window looking out at the treetops and nesting wild turkeys; two bathrooms and three bedrooms to accommodate all the generations; a quiet side street for morning walks and turkey watching; and a convenient location only five minutes from downtown shops and the harbor, yet with the feeling of country seclusion. In short we had the comforts of home, while being on vacation in a spot of great natural beauty.
