Walking distance to amenities and ski shuttle:
The house is located on a quiet, private road off of Route 100, less than one mile from Mount Snow. From the house it's an easy walk to Deacon's Den & Fennessey's. The 'Moover,' which is the Mt. Snow Valley's free shuttle, picks up and drops off at the intersection of our road and Route 100, less than 1/8 mile from our front door. This shuttle will take you to multiple stops along Route 100 and makes a loop through the major drop off areas at Mount Snow & Haystack.

Pets Welcome!:
We have two dogs and the golden retriever in our pics passed away this summer. She used to spend time up at the house. We have a run attached to the house, outside the main sliding door, and our street is perfect for walks with or without a pooch in tow. It's a dead end but also connects easily to the neighboring areas for longer walks. Your dog must be well-behaved and accustomed to spending time alone during the day (if you're leaving him/her there alone). Otherwise, please bring a portable kennel to prevent any destructive behavior or soiling. We welcome pets but not the damage they can cause!

Kid friendly, not kid safe:
We have a portacrib, high chair and an assortment of children's toys and VCR tapes for your use. We also have a bumper on the hearth for safety. We do not have child safe locks on the cabinets and expect that guests will childproof on their arrival to ensure that cleaning fluids, etc. are out of reach of little hands.

Ski:
We are located ONE MILE from Mt Snow's base lodge at Carinthia. The free MOOVER shuttle stops at the bottom of our hill (short walk) and takes guests to the mountain and into Wilmington and all stops along the way.
Golf:
Mount Snow and Haystack Golf Courses are minutes away. Please call them in advance for tee times as they are very popular. Stratton Mountain Golf Course is approximately 40 minutes away.
