Minutes from Mount Snow and located on a quiet dead-end road off of Rte. 100, this home has it all! Shopping, movies and restaurants are minutes away and guests can walk to three great restaurants. This home offers open living with a beautiful great room and a woodstove. The finished basement has a 5-person Jacuzzi. Kids' items include games, books and videos as well as a high chair and portacrib. Pets are welcome; there's a dog run attached to the house and the street is perfect for walks. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, stereo/CD/ and VHS/DVD systems, washer/dryer and more. Perfect for two families, three couples or groups of friends.

The Moover, Mt. Snow's Free Shuttle, picks up and drops off at the end of our road (about 1/8 mile).

Walking distance to amenities and ski shuttle: The house is located on a quiet, private road off of Route 100, less than one mile from Mount Snow. From the house it's an easy walk to Deacon's Den & Fennessey's. The 'Moover,' which is the Mt. Snow Valley's free shuttle, picks up and drops off at the intersection of our road and Route 100, less than 1/8 mile from our front door. This shuttle will take you to multiple stops along Route 100 and makes a loop through the major drop off areas at Mount Snow & Haystack.

Pets Welcome!: We have two dogs and the golden retriever in our pics passed away this summer. She used to spend time up at the house. We have a run attached to the house, outside the main sliding door, and our street is perfect for walks with or without a pooch in tow. It's a dead end but also connects easily to the neighboring areas for longer walks. Your dog must be well-behaved and accustomed to spending time alone during the day (if you're leaving him/her there alone). Otherwise, please bring a portable kennel to prevent any destructive behavior or soiling. We welcome pets but not the damage they can cause!

Kid friendly, not kid safe: We have a portacrib, high chair and an assortment of children's toys and VCR tapes for your use. We also have a bumper on the hearth for safety. We do not have child safe locks on the cabinets and expect that guests will childproof on their arrival to ensure that cleaning fluids, etc. are out of reach of little hands.

One mile from Mt. Snow. Shopping, movies, restaurants, skiing, hiking and biking are all nearby. Minutes from public pools and a short drive to three area lakes with public access for swimming. Forty minute drive to Manchester outlet shopping and 8 miles from Downtown Wilmington, which is full of unique, fun shops and restaurants.

Golf: Mount Snow and Haystack Golf Courses are minutes away. Please call them in advance for tee times as they are very popular. Stratton Mountain Golf Course is approximately 40 minutes away.

Ski: We are located ONE MILE from Mt Snow's base lodge at Carinthia. The free MOOVER shuttle stops at the bottom of our hill (short walk) and takes guests to the mountain and into Wilmington and all stops along the way.

Great Location...Needs an update

I agree with some of the other comments made by other reviewers...the location is great...the place is clean enough...but overall, it's definitley a little worn...The TV should be made a flat screen (they are not too expensive anymore)...the broken chair removed downstairs (don't just put a sign on it requesting not to sit on it)...I would stay here again, based on the location, price/value it gave...but wouldn't be heartbroken if I had to try some where else.

Owner's Response: I agree completely with Greta. We are bringing up a new TV in early March; getting large items up there from CT can be a challenge. I'll check on that chair, too. We upgrade furnishings every year, always looking to make the house nicer, more comfortable. Last year we added wireless internet and changed out all the bedding & pillows. Each year there's something new. We appreciate the feedback!

Warm Welcome to Snowy Vermont

Myself and seven friends stayed for a weekend and absolutely loved it! Linens were provided, the house was clean, we were never cold, and the hot tub was definitely put to good use. Very close to the slopes and an excellent restaurant called The Last Chair. The owner was extremely helpful whenever I had a question or concern. She makes the renters feel comfortable and I look forward to staying here again next year!

We had a wonderful time in your home in West Dover. It is a lovely and comfy place in a great location. We found everything easily and spent both evenings dining in. The ski conditions on the mountain were fantastic. Jack, at your recommendation, set us up with discounted lift tickets for yesterday and today.
We left everything in good shape and hope to have the opportunity to come back in the future.

Want to stay here again.

5 minutes from the slopes to the hot tub. We spent 4 nights here with 4 children. A good time was had by all. There are several restaurants and grocery stores close by. The kitchen is fully equipped, we were able to fix all of our meals no problem. Hoping to book this place again next year. I've skied many resorts and Mt Snow is tops. My kids had their first lessons with real results, they had a blast, skiers for life now. Great instructors. Friendly professional staff. My car wouldn't start in the parking lot, guest services was there in 5 minutes to give me a jump.
