The Perfect Vineyard House

If I could own a house on the Vineyard, it would be this one. The photos are inviting but the house itself is even better than the photos! The cozy post and beam construction of the first floor opens to light and air overlooking trees and flowers. From one bedroom, you can watch the sun rise and from the others, you can watch it set. Thoughtful details such as built-in window seats and drawers add to the charm, as does the gorgeous, gleaming woodwork throughout the house. The location is well situated: it's a short drive to downtown Vineyard Haven, with a shorter bike ride or car ride to up-Island Cronig's or for a cup of coffee at Fella's. It's out of the melee while still having quick access for forgotten groceries or to pick people up from the ferry. We felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed here. We hope to return!
