When you enter this beautiful,luxury, professionally decorated Northridge Four Seasons Townhouse for your vacation, you'll immediately be dazzled by a spectacular panoramic view stretching from Camelback Mountain to the Delaware Water Gap Mountain 10 miles away and on over the rolling forested hills 20 miles east through our wall of floor-to- ceiling picture windows and from our huge deck. Camelback Mountain is lighted for night skiing so the appeal is the same after dark.

Whether a large single or multi-family group, there is plenty of room in this 3 story ski chalet to gather or spread out for quiet time. The main floor has a large LR with cathedral ceiling and wood -burning fireplace, Formal Country DR, fully equipped Kitchen with Breakfast Bar, guest bath and Master Bdrm with queen bed, full private bath and walk in closet. Upstairs has a queen master bedroom, (spectacular view) with full bath and second large bdrm with 2 double deluxe futons. There are ceiling fans in LR and bdrms plus Central Air.

About The Owner

We Stewarts are a friendly bunch from Suffolk County, Long Island. We have a beautifal wooded lot at home, with a very private rear yard, so the view is what's really special at our Northridge at Camelback home. It is ever changing and magnificent. WITHOUT A SPECTACULAR VIEW IT WOULDN'T FEEL LIKE A VACATION!

Why The Owner chose Tannersville

We chose this home for it's natural beauty of the area surrounded by parkland and it's magnificent 20 mile mountain views. We face Camelback Ski Mountain which enhances the vista all year and is a lighted ski mountain which is so nice all winter. We chose our site because we are on the upper crest where we get a close spectacular view of everything. After a short 2 hour drive from Long Island, we walk in our front door and immediately feel like we're really away, when we see the mountain view from our elevated position across from the top of Camelback Mountain. We chose here because we'd be driving another 3 hours to Vermont and all our spread out family can also reach here so conveniently that we see family and enjoy vacation time with them so much more often than we ever could before. We can come here every weekend if we want. Vermont or upstate NY would rarely see us. Life is good!

What makes this townhome unique

All the kids learned how to ski and snowboard here at Camelback which is a family ski mountain and they are in their 20s now so they can even come out for 1 day's skiing, Long Island is souch an easy drive. We have family and friends from Long Island, to NY City, to upstate NY, Pittsburg, Philly, Baltimore, and south Jersey, and they can all come here easily or we can spend a night here and then go visit them. Thanksgiving is here and central for everyone! We love our home and it shows when you see it. I can't list all the different fun vacation things you have to do in this area, both with and without the kids. Not to mention just relaxing on the deck with a good book and the clean, fresh mountain air.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. There were 9 of us and every single one of us slept comfotably. The house has everything you need and more. It was clean and cozy. The location is perfect. It's right next to Camel Beach waterpark. It's so close that we came back to the house for lunch and went right back to the park. We spent most of our time playing pool, grilling and watching movies. We also used the community pool and had a blast. We did paintball which was five minutes away. The owner Ron was great, it was a last minute trip and he worked with us, was flexible with the time we could arrive and time we could leave. One of my cousin's forgot his keys and Ron was nice enough to mail them to us. We had a wonderful stay and plan on going back again. We highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful family vacation site

Three generations of our family spent a delightful 5 nights at this home in Aug. 2011. It is extremely clean and exactly as pictured/described in this write up. The owner was more than willing to answer all of my questions. But as we headed out, we wondered "Can this place really work for us?"

It did. It has space inside for 3 generations, has a spacious deck for enjoying the mountain view, is quiet, provides the swimming pool at the clubhouse for a nominal fee, is close to hiking trails and state parks . . . as well as restaurants and an excellent grocery store.

Our grandchildren were young enough (3-9yr) to enjoy the extensive playground at a state park only a few miles away. The second day there was as much fun as the first. We also drove to Bushkill Falls to hike the trails there, and to enjoy many views of the "Niagara Fall of PA."

We chose to eat in rather than go to restaurants . . . that worked well for the most part, but the kitchen is better suited to one cook rather than to many helpers. We also wished for more refrigerator space so we didn't have to shop for gallons of milk every day.

But those are minor details. All 6 adults said that it was a great experience and they would do it again. We recommend it to you.

You won't be disappointed if you choose this rental!
