2 bedrooms- 1 bath + after swim shower, decks

Just park your car and relax. You can walk to everything from this charming 2 bedroom year round cottage. Excellent in town location. Walk to the village shops, restaurants, Friday night band concerts, Chatham A's baseball games, ocean beaches or public golf course. This bright, sunny cottage has beautiful front & back decks, after swim shower, gas grill, patio furniture and a full basement with washer/dryer. The oversized yard is perfect for children to run in.

The cottage is well-equipped with TV/VCR, DVD, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, tin foil, baggies, basic spices, gas grill, patio furniture, washer/dryer, etc. The cottage is located on a private road with no through traffic. There is parking for 2-3 cars plus a storage for bikes, roof racks, etc. Sleeps 4 in comfort , one queen and two twins plus a single pull out in the living room
Nearest Airport : Barnstable Airport at 20 Miles
Nearest Beach : beach at 0.5 Miles
Car: not necessary

Easy stroll to village shops, restaurants, band concerts, ocean beaches, and Chatham A's baseball. Bike path just around the corner. Walk to the fish pier and watch the local fisherman bring in their catch, or grab a fresh order of fish and chips and eat it right there on the beach.

Other Activities: Take a seal tour to the the outer beach or whale watching along the coast. Slip off your shoes and walk out across miles of beautiful beaches along South Monomoy where rare birds and sea life are plentifull. The bike path is at the end of the street and connects to miles of well tended paths surrounded by ponds and beautiful wildlife.

Golf: There is a challenging 9 hole course a 10 min walk away. Open to the public and the view from the fairways is wonderful.

Perfect Chatham Vacation!

My husband and I took our two little boys (3 and 5) to Chatham for another wonderful vacation! This place was perfect for us! My children are still small so it was nice having everything on one floor and the yard was PERFECT! There was so much for them to do and toys for them to play with. They met some new friends who were from CT and came over to our place every night to play. We did feel like they were safe in the yard. If you have teenage boys, it may be bit tight but for us this was perfect!

Perfect location to walk to Oyster Pond or Main Street (it is a bit of a walk with two little ones though so we drove most of the time) and to catch Rt 28 to beaches in Orleans.

Lucy is very sweet and responsive and I highly recommend renting her very cute cottage.

We stayed here for a week in Sept 2010 and found the place perfect. The owner was very helpful but also respected our privacy even though she lived next door. We have a 9 month old baby and the house is very child friendly with beach toys, outdoor toys and highchair provided, The only thing I would have liked was the option to rent a cot. The best thing was that the cottage was walkable to the town centre, playground and beach so we hardly had to use our car at all which was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone especially families.

Great place

We stayed in the 2 bdrm cottage this past August 2010. Kitchen is loaded with everything you could want + outside grill. Front yard is huge for playing with kids and enjoying the outdoors.
Loved the extra outdoor (enclosed) shower. Super for when coming home from the beach or whenever.
The owner is very helpful and takes care of any concerns immediately.
Washer and dryer in basement.
Very convenient, quiet neighborhood.
This is our third time at renting this cottage and we have never been disappointed, except when it was already booked for the week that we wanted.

Close but not too close to downtown Chatham

Loved this little cottage close to downtown Chatham! In a quiet neighborhood yet walking distance to many events in this village! We will be returning for our 3rd season. Clean, plenty of bedding, private and the owner is great! I would definitely recommend this too a friend.
