Historic Nantucket Island, home of the largest fleet of whaling ships that sailed the world's oceans in the 1800's, maintains much of the character of that period. Cobblestone streets and historic homes blend in with great restaurants and miles of sandy beaches. 60% of our land is in permanent conservation and surf and deep sea fishing is angler friendly. And don't miss a visit to our state of the art whaling museum either. Hop on the fast ferry (1 hour), fly over in 15 minutes or take the slow car ferry (2.5 hours) from Hyannis, MA. And don't forget the bikes!

This adorable, clean cottage tucked away on a tiny street in Nantucket was the nicest place we have stayed in years! The photographs on the website do not do the cottage justice. The owners really keep it well stocked, and it is very comfortable to live in. There is a deck, as well as a covered porch, parking for an SUV, outside grill, and fully stocked kitchen with a breakfast counter. There are also two full baths, and a loft for 'getting away'. The rental price is just right, and I would love to return if possible in 2008. The street it's on is also nice and quiet and great for star gazing.

This is such a sweet cottage... beautiful setting, quiet neighborhood, very gracious owners. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you could need! The location is perfect, just a quick walk to town. We can't wait to get back next summer!!
