We are the two squashed in the basket on the left hand side! As we like the Peak District so much, we wanted to see what it looked like from above and had an ideal flight from Bakewell in a Virgin Balloon ( generous gift from daughter).
We discovered Brushfield in 1999 and decided that this was the place we wanted to live because of it's spectacular location in the heart of the Peak District. It's in a great rural setting, surrounded by fields and woodland, off the beaten track - yet close to all the amenities and attractions of the area. Initially our children loved it, because of the space and amenities it had. In their teens it was too quiet for them and we were constantly taxiing them around to their social engagements! More recently they love coming back with their friends and partners, to enjoy the qualities that attracted us in the first place! It's also a great home for our two santuary donkeys and our lawn mower sheep.
