Lovely contemporary home

Large, clean home, great breezes, but no real view of the ocean. Great area for biking, dead next to an air strip so not as quiet as you'd expect; also disappointed in the lack of games/amenities for children. Almost no island information on the site. A great vacation destination overall, but for the money you could do better. Jacuzzi didn't work!!

There are nice ocean views from the top two floors of our property, especially from the top floor, which is the master suite.
The Jacuzzi was unfortunately not working the end of the summer as we were waiting for a part. It has been repaired is is now operating properly.
There are plenty of board games for children over 7-8. They are located in a storage area facing the kitchen. There is also a DVD player for entertainment for children of all ages. We do not have a play set in the yard but do have a nice size flat yard.
We are located near a grass airstrip where small propeller planes land during the daytime. Depending on the direction of the wind, there can be some noise. Most of our visitors have enjoyed watching these little planes take off and land. There is a wonderful little restaurant at the airstrip that is open for breakfast and lunch and is a favorite for families with small children.
Our location is a highly sought after neighborhood within easy walking distance of South Beach. We are located on a small quiet cul de sac with other families. Our rates are in line with the immediate neighborhood, maybe even a bit lower.
I am sorry that this family was disappointed in their stay at our home. Our caretaker lives next door to our home and would gladly have helped them if asked. We will make certain to supply our home with more Island information.
