The property features a 28 ft living room with a vaulted ceiling, skylights, 35' TV, gas fireplace and a first floor master bedroom. There are two additional bedrooms on the second floor with another full bath. The home is situated in the heart of Katama, and is 1.4 miles to both South Beach and Edgartown Village. This home is located on dead end road 300 ft from the popular bike path.

Our Martha's Vineyard week

My family and I spent the last week of June this year on Martha's Vineyard. Although the weather could have been better, we still had a great time. Bernie and Richards' house is so comfortable that even if you are confined to stay inside, you still will have a great time. The furniture is very comfortable and the layout of the house is just right. Read a good book or sit back and watch the Red Sox while drinking a frosty. The house is decorated just perfectly for a Vineyard retreat. Thank you Bernie and Richard for the joy of unwinding for a week.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

My family made our first visit to Martha's Vineyard for a wedding. Aside from enjoying all the sites on the island we really enjoyed this house. The location was perfect! We were able to walk/bike into Edgartown and the beach. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Working with Bernie was easy and he was very helpful. If we ever make it back out there I would stay at this house again.

Our stay on Martha's Vineyard was truly a time of goods friends, good conversation, and great accommedations.

The atmosphere that Richard and Bernie have created in their home at the Vineyard is far beyond what we had anticipated. The moment we opened the door a feeling of warmth and welcome came over us. This was not just a house, it was a home. The spacious first floor, the loft overlooking the living room, the lovely bedrooms, the gas fireplace, that was a real treat - no carrying firewood. This home was designed for complete comfort and relaxation.

This was our first venture to Martha's Vineyard and we couldn't have had a better time. The friends; a guaranteed good time, the conversation; always something to talk about, but his home; the picture will stay in our minds ....

until we meet again Martha Vineyard!

My husband and I, along with three friends, stayed in this home last summer ('03). "Home" is the optimal word. The baths are spic and span, the kitchen modern and fully functional, and the decor of the living and sleeping areas is lovely while cozy and comfortable. Throughout this house, it is obvious that these owners care about what they provide their guests.
