Beautifully furnished and maintained home set back on almost 1 acre. Finished basement for additional living space! New hardwood floors throughout first floor. Walk with morning coffee to Sengekontacket Pond and take in the beautiful views of Nantucket Sound or ride on the bike path a short distance to Edgartown and State Beach. Fun family clamming only blocks away. Flat screen TV, Bose Sound System.

RIght up the dirt road, off The Boulevard, we have purchased an amazing WATERFRONT Property 139561. IDEAL for family gatherings to have both homes.

Additional owner comments: This is our second home. Our family enjoys 3 weeks at this house every summer. This is not a rental property as such and we think you will find it comfortable and inviting. It is furnished nicely but we invite families with children as this is a lived in house and one that we thoroughly enjoy.

It is conveniently located to town and to the pond. Our family enjoys walks through the neighborhood, especially down to the pond, where we often clam.

Quiet neighborhood walking distance to Sengekontacket pond. Wonderful to walk and bike to pond. Explore also trail from the Boulevard to Beach road (quick bike ride to state beach!)

Convenient to Edgartown triangle shops and restaurants, just a little over 1 mile away. Convenient to bike path on Edgartown road.

Clean Comfort

My husband and I have rented in Edgartown/Oak Bluffs for many many years and this house was the best we've experienced thus far. The house was roomy and clean. The deck is enormous and great to hang out on with the kids after a long day at the beach. Most importantly the house was clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated, with more than enough linens and towels readily available. We arrived the weekend of the hurricane (late August 09) so my only suggestion would be for the owners to have room fans available for muggy days/nights. Other than that, the overall stay was great—we couldn't have been more pleased. Our children (ages 6, 6 and 3) are easily turned off ("creeped out") by houses they're not used to but they seemed very happy and at home with the bright, open layout of the house. The owners were helpful and accomodating in every way. You won't be disappointed!

Felt Like Home

"Comfortable and spacious" describe this house perfectly! We were a large group and didn't feel crowded at all. The children enjoyed playing in the yard and we all enjoyed BBQing on the huge deck. I especially enjoyed having breakfast on the deck in the morning. Even friends who stopped by commented that the house felt like home. Furthermore, we had everything that we needed, from beach chairs and towels to kitchen supplies. The kitchen is nice and spacious for cooking, by the way. The location was also practical -- not far from central Oakbluffs or Edgartown. The homeowner, Laura, was great! She was very flexible in working with us and responsive to all of our needs. A great find! We would definitely return to this house and recommend it highly. Thanks Laura!!

Lovely home in a great location

We had a wonderful stay in this house, which is well appointed, clean, spacious, and just steps away from the bike path. The owners were happy to provide information about activities in the area and were quick to return our security deposit. No complaints - we would gladly rent this property again. Highly recommended.

Great Home For Entertaining!

We just returned from our ten day vacation in the home and it was fantastic! We found the home to be a great place to entertain. From the roomy kitchen to the counter island to the humongous deck this was a perfect place to grill steaks and shark, have a champagne sip and cook a pasta meal. The flat screen tv and home entertainment center provided just the right backgound setting. All of the bedrooms were large and spacious. The home was located in the very convenient Triangle area and allowed us to almost anything we needed within minutes.

I would recommend this house for any group or family looking for a nice place to relax and kick back.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
