This elegant Victorian Period three bedroom flat is located in Hyndland in the heart of Glasgow’s fashionable and historic West End. Hyndland is the true gem of the West End; a virtually intact neighbourhood of Victorian tenements that is like traveling back in time. Located at the top of the hill in a quiet tree lined street above Hyndland Bowling Green, the apartment has unrivalled breathtaking views across the Westend skyline and, further afield, landmarks on the river Clyde, the Campsie Fells and the hills of Dumgoyne. This stunning traditional red sandstone flat has six spacious rooms retaining many original features, including period fireplaces in each room, hardwood floors, and corniced high ceilings. All rooms in this elegant flat are wonderfully peaceful and private.

The lounge features dramatic views from an enchanting five window turret where you can watch the day start in this peaceful neighbourhood. The room is handsomely decorated with period furniture throughout and includes a television, multi-region DVD player and cd player. The recently renovated kitchen is very spacious and features a two sided cooking/preparation area, dishwasher, espresso machine, panini maker, and a large kitchen/dining table which can seat four. An adjacent utility room includes a large fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. In addition, a separate dining room provides a lovely atmosphere for evenings, and can also serve as an office space for visiting professionals. Each comfortable and quiet double bedroom is fully carpeted and a long hallway leads to all of the rooms in the apartment, making each very private. All of the three bedrooms are uniquely themed and attractively furnished. Guests are provided with luxurious down comforters and pillows (non-allergen available on request) and plush bath towels. Free wifi is provided throughout the flat, and there is an extensive library of books, including regional guidebooks, for you to enjoy during your stay.

Elegant and spacious period apartment

Incredibly impressed with this beautifully presented apartment positioned in a wonderful location in the heart of Glasgow's vibrant West end. The attention to detail in the furnishings and decor is fabulous. Complete with original fireplaces and ornate pillars and cornicing, particularly in the large lounge. So much care has been taken in the selection of period furniture, artefacts and decoration, in keeping with the period accommodation, yet the property is uncluttered and extremely clean. It is a very spacious flat, with 3 large double bedrooms, impressive lounge, a modern high spec spacious kitchen with great gas cooker, belfast sink, homely dining area and a separate utility room. I was able to benefit from the washer drier and dish washer; all brand new appliances. Another wow factor is the fact that this apartment also comes with a separate large dining room; of course thoughtfully decorated and furnished with period furnishings and large, gracious dining table. Oh, and the hallway must be mentioned. It is large and elegant. The housekeeper is very friendly and professional and the whole booking process was fast and simple. All in all, 8 Queensborough Gardens is an absolute gem. We shall be back!

Fantastic location

Had a great stay in this lovely flat. The views from the living room were fantastic and there was just so much space. Great location for kids as there is a play park just behind the house and a great very child friendly cafe bar at the end of the road. The train station is 3 minutes walk although sadly all uphill on the way back. Byres rd is an easy walk away passing more parks on the way :) botanic gardens is quite close too. The flat has everything you could need, even DVDs, books games. Great kitchen. Only 2 things I would change would be less stairs :) and another toilet, then it would be perfect

Fantastic rental experience in Glasgow

A truly great, comfortable and well appointed holiday flat. Top floor means lots of stairs but so worth it for the far reaching views. Kitchen was as well equipped as home. Wanted for nothing except perhaps a second loo which we appreciate these 100 year old tenement buildings can't have. Very clean. Helpful advice. Well placed for trains into Central Glasgow and also access to motorways to airport. Lots of lovely cafés and places to eat within easy walking. We would strongly recommend and are likely to return here again.

Beautiful flat!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful flat. The neighborhood is lovely with nice shops and everything we needed a quick walk away. The home was spotless and the furnishings very comfortable. Thank you for a fantastic stay! The flat is beautiful and the location and views are amazing. We really enjoyed the new kitchen as well. Most of all the flat has such a heartwarming, comfortable and elegant feel. We felt right at home and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood very much. Byres Road was such an easy walk from the flat and very convenient. We had a great stay here and recommend it to all. We can’t wait to come back and stay for longer!
